Belle’s revenge on Drew goes horribly wrong. Naomi’s secret falls into the wrong hands.
Extended Summary
Drew is desperate to get Belle back on side after his random pash at the party, but she’s sick of giving him second chances. Finally, he convinces her to meet with him at lunchtime so he can explain. However, a disagreement with Naomi lands him in a lunch time study group at school.
Belle’s furious when Drew fails to show, and isn’t prepared to listen to anymore excuses – it’s over this time! Out of spite, Belles later steals Drew’s assignment. While he’s adamant he handed it in, Naomi and Dan refuse to believe him. Angry and hurt, he decides to quit school for good. Belle feels terrible and admits everything, but it’s too late. Drew stands by his decision – he’s through with school.
Brad confronts Naomi over her affair with Luc. She explains she didn’t know he was a student at the time and that she ended the relationship as soon as she found out. She’s terrified her whole career is at risk. Brad intends to investigate the matter further, but promises not to report it to the Department unless absolutely necessary. Meanwhile, Jack’s resentment for Naomi is festering – he blames her for tearing apart his family. While he unloads to Martha, Colleen listens on unseen and learns the shocking truth about Naomi and Luc.
Concerned about Luc’s state of mind, Jack seeks him out and manages to talk him. Brad also gets a chance to talk to Lucas and Lucas reveals nothing new about his incident with Naomi with this in mind Brad lets Naomi off the hook and decides not to report her case to the Department. She’s overjoyed… but not for long. She’s shocked by the front page of the paper – it reads – “Local teacher in sex scandal with student”. Her secret is out!
