Episodes: 27372756

Occupation: Loan shark

Mick was one of the first customers at Jesse’s garage, saying Jesse had been recommended to him by a friend, Phil, and that he had friends in the courier business who he’d recommend Jesse to if he did a good job. When he returned to pick the car up, Will and Gypsy were there, which seemed to make him slightly uncomfortable, as did a brief encounter with Joel, who had arrested him a year earlier for car theft.

The next day, Mick returned and told Jesse his friends were interested in using him. Jesse’s suspicions were raised when Mick suggested he put in a spray booth but he cautiously agreed when Mick insisted it was all legit. However, Mick’s first “friend”, Kevin, brought in a stolen car. Mick told Jesse it had been a test to see if he’d go to the police as he had before. He also indicated that he was behind Jesse getting the loan to buy the garage and pointed out he was already behind.

Mick gave Jesse a car that had been involved in a hit and run where a young girl had been injured, wanting him to disguise the damage. When Sally found out what was going on, Jesse dumped the car in the bush but Mick was furious when he found out: The car was his and he was the one who had run over the girl, meaning if the car was found it would lead the police straight to him. He was further annoyed to learn Joel was already suspicious and provided Jesse with false records.

Mick told Jesse to take the car back to the garage where they would spray paint it together. While there, he found a bag of clothes hidden at the garage and deduced Jesse was planning to skip town. After they had fixed the car up, Mick confronted Jesse about his plans. However, Joel then arrived in uniform. Although he was just there to drop off Tom’s car, Mick panicked and drove off with Jesse at high speed, prompting Joel to pursue them. Both cars crashed after their way was blocked by roadworks and Mick was knocked out. Jesse took the injured Joel’s handcuffs and cuffed the dazed Mick to the wheel before fleeing the scene. Mick was taken into custody by the police when they arrived on the scene.
