Dana and her friend Carl were part of a frisbee game that Cassie and Ric were watching whilst at Bondi, as Cassie came to terms with her HIV diagnosis.

When the frisbee landed at their feet, Dana came to collect it and asked if they wanted to join in. Ric accepted Dana’s offer to play with them and Carl took his place beside Cassie. Noticing that Ric was worried, Dana assured him that Carl was one of the good guys and Ric turned his attention to the game.

Carl and Dana later joined Cassie and Ric in a cafe but bailed when Martha arrived to speak to them.
