Alison was an independent candidate who stood against Noah in the local council election. After Noah was approached by counciller Mike Simmons, who offered to help him out in exchange for Noah voting with him on the council, Alison told Noah that Mike had made the same offer to her but she had turned him down. Although Noah made a speech at the rally saying he had been tempted to compromise his ideals but had decided not to, Alison won the election.
