Extended Summary

Leah and Jasmine are going for a power walk on the beach. Jasmine comments on being able to do it without looking over her shoulder and agrees she’s lucky to have ended up in Summer Bay. They accidentally get in the way of an exercise class Mason is running, with the participants running back and forth. Leah introduces Jasmine to Mason. Jasmine notes she hasn’t done a class in a while and Mason suggests she come by the gym for a free trial. At the hospital, Maggie is being treated while Ziggy and Coco debate in the corridor whether she’s allergic to something. Ben comes out and says Maggie has to stay in overnight. He is going to take the girls home but Ziggy suggests ringing Brody to collect them so Ben can stay with Maggie. Maggie asks the nurse, Erica, if this is always going to happen and Erica says Dr Callan will adjust the meds. Ben, Ziggy and Coco come in and explain the situation, with the girls giving Maggie lots of hugs first.

At the Morgan house, Brody notes Mason is wearing aftershave while Mason notices Brody is looking up properties online. Brody says it’s not just because he’s mad at Justin: It feels that it’s time and the place is getting crowded, especially when Raffy comes back. He gets a call from Ziggy and says he’s on the way. At the caravan park house, Raffy and Ryder have got a text update from Coco and text her back. Alf asks if anyone talks face to face anymore. Ryder asks him about Roo. Alf says she won’t be back in the next couple of days but thinks it won’t be long. Hunter comes through and Raffy and Ryder tease him about looking smart; all he’ll say is that he’s not meeting Olivia. Raffy gets a reply from Coco.

At the Diner, Hunter tells Leah he’s waiting for his date and adds that he is certain it is a date this time. Leah tells him he doesn’t need to rush into anything. Jennifer arrives and both Hunter and Leah compliment her on how she looks before Hunter and Jennifer take their table. Meanwhile, Ziggy, Coco and Brody arrive back at the farm house. Coco is frustrated with Maggie’s condition and goes to do some research. Ziggy assures Brody that she’s all right.

Jasmine shows up at the gym and is greeted by Mason. Nearby, Irene is sitting on an exercise ball doing weights while Olivia is slumped over one next to her. Olivia says nothing is helping clear her mind for work. Irene asks what’s different this time. Olivia says she usually has Hunter to bounce ideas off and decides she needs to go and see him, predicting he’ll be at a loose end. Irene wearily disagrees. At the Diner, Jennifer mentions going back to school and asks Hunter what he’s planning. Hunter says he’s been accepted into a sports science degree at university but isn’t sure if he’ll go: It’s the first time he’s told anyone. He adds that Jennifer should get into uni because she’s smarter than him. Olivia comes in and Leah tries to offer her a takeaway. Olivia spots Hunter and Jennifer and goes over to them. After some extremely awkward greetings, Olivia tells Hunter she’ll talk to him later.

Mason is holding a bag while Jasmine punches it. He realises she’s done it before and she says she’s never been into yoga or tai chi. Mason mentions being in a car accident as well. Back at the Diner, things are more stilted between Hunter and Jennifer. Hunter tries to keep the date going but Jennifer senses he’s distracted and decides to go. Leah comes over to Hunter and says she tried to stop Olivia. Hunter doesn’t know why he let her get to him, since he was trying to move on. Leah points out they were together a long time and he can’t just turn his feelings off.

Jasmine is leaving the gym; Mason offers to walk her home but she says she’ll see him tomorrow. The farewell is interrupted by Olivia storming in, asking Mason what he knows about Hunter and Jennifer. As far as Mason’s aware, they’re friends and Hunter hasn’t spoken to him about it. Olivia is certain that what he saw was a date. At the farm house, Coco is practically asleep over her laptop and Ziggy sends her to bed. Brody tells her she’s a good sister and she notes she thought she’d try it for once. Brody tells her about his plan to get his own place and suggests she move in with him, adding that there’s no pressure. Ziggy says she’ll think about it.

Ben is sat by Maggie’s bedside at the hospital. Maggie wakes up and says she didn’t think it would be as bad as this. Ben says they have to hope it gets better. He suggests they go on a trip when she recovers, relating all the sights they can see in Italy if he checks out his cousins. Maggie says he’s never wanted to do that. Ben says that was then. Next morning, Coco comes into the Diner and asks Irene for Maggie’s favourite cake, since she’s coming home. Ryder calls her over to his table, asking about Maggie and offering help. Brody and Ziggy also come in; Brody checks he didn’t freak Ziggy out the previous night. Olivia arrives; Ziggy gives her a glare but doesn’t say anything, calling Coco over and leaving. Olivia asks Irene for an update on Maggie. Irene says she could have asked Ziggy but Olivia says it’s not that simple. She gets another text from Axel about the designs.

Hunter is hitting Mason’s pads at the gym and complaining about Olivia ruining his date. Mason doesn’t think it was deliberate, explaining about her visit. Leah and Jasmine come in and Mason greets them. He explains to Hunter about meeting Jasmine; Hunter thinks Mason likes her. At the farm house, Coco has set the table with Brody and Ziggy. Ben and Maggie arrive back. Maggie is pleased with the spread but says she just wants to lie down. Coco is worried about how ill Maggie seems. Ben tells her and Ziggy that with their support Maggie will be fine.

Hunter runs into a man outside the surf club who asks for directions to the caravan park. Hunter tells him it’s the other way. After he’s gone, the man looks at a photo of Jasmine on his phone, indicating that this is David. Hunter finds Jennifer on the wharf and asks if she got his text asking to meet. Jennifer says she was about to reply. Hunter suggests they do the previous night again without Olivia turning up. Jennifer says she doesn’t want to be a complication. Hunter assures her she’s not and kisses her. Jennifer agrees and they kiss again.

Leah and Jasmine are walking through the caravan park. Leah invites Jasmine up to the house for lunch after she’s got changed. Jasmine goes to her van but finds David waiting for her. He says they need to talk.
