Christie Welcomes Baby Boy
Former Home and Away actress Christie Hayes has given birth to her first child.
Christie (27), who played Kirsty Sutherland/Phillips from 2000-2005 and 2008-2009, was in the process of planning her wedding to wine broker Daniel White (39) when they received the news that they were expecting a baby boy.
In a recent interview with Woman’s Day before the birth, Christie explained “I’d sent Save the Date cards, booked the venue and decided on August 31, the date we got engaged. Then we found out I was pregnant and due a few weeks after my chosen date so we had to call it off! We weren’t planning the pregnancy, but we weren’t ‘not planning’ it either! We’re madly in love and decided to let the universe decide.”
Christie also revealed the name that they had chosen for their future son. “We’re calling him Hendrix Walter White. Hendrix after the [guitar] legend and Walter is a family name from Daniel’s side and a character in Breaking Bad. We love that show so it’s a happy coincidence.”
On receiving our congratulations, Christie informed us that pictures of the new arrival will be published soon in Woman’s Day.
