H&A in the UK too close for comfort.

Home And Away is to take a 3 week break from screening in the UK from August 4 to August 25th. But they won’st be going cold turkey. Some classic episodes will be played over the break, which has been put in place to prevent the UK from becoming to close to Australia in terms of episodes.

Australia is also taking a two week break due to Seven’ss coverage of 2008 Beijing Olympics.

There will be 2 hours of H&A each day, with episodes playing at 10am-11am and being repeated at 6pm-7pm. The first weeks episodes consist of some classic weddings and their aftermaths. Iconic marriages such as Sally & Flynn, Noah & Hayley, Kirsty & Kane, Leah & Dan and more recently, Jack & Martha’ss barnhouse celebration.

Home & Away returns to the Australia on the 25th August and the UK on the 26th August.
