H&A grabs an AWGIE

Posted on Author Categories Home and Away

Congratulations to Home and Away writer Sam Meikle for his win at the 39th Annual AWGIE awards which were announced last week in Sydney.

The winning script was for Episode 4121, the episode of Flynn’ss (Joel McIllroy) death. It was up against three Neighbours episodes.

Contrary to other awards, the best writer won, as the awards are judged on the scripts, not the final product.

Congratulations Sam!
