Sally asked him if he could afford a new uniform, but he didn't know how quick to get off the subject and onto something else. And then he goes asking Matilda out, just so he can get the bullies who think he's gay off his back. It seems like he can stay up late sitting by a fire on the beach, I wonder if his parents simply allow him to do this on a school night, or whether he is sleeping rough maybe. Another kid who comes to the Bay for a few episodes, has a little trauma storyline and never really makes much of an impression. The exceptions of this being Bobby and Kit and a few others.
