Episode 42

That night, Tracey is watching the news when Jacob puts his arm around her.

Jacob: You okay?

Tracey: Just tired that's all.

Jacob: You sure?

Tracey: Of course. I just really need your company right now.

Jacob: I totally understand. Nora seems like a nice girl though.

Tracey: She really is. It's just that comparing my life to hers really upsets me.

Jacob: I think you both had good lives.

Tracey: Are you kidding? Jacob, you know about my life.

Jacob: Yes, but you have a good life now. *smiles*

Tracey: I know. I love you so much.

Jacob: Love you this much. *shows Tracey exactly how much*

*Tracey and Jacob then kiss*

The next day (Sunday), Janae decides to spend the day at Westfield Warrawong with Imoska.

Janae: I just want to say that I'm sorry about everything that went down between us.

Imoska: Hey, I'm over it now. *smiles*

Janae: Friends again?

Imoska: Of course. *hugs Janae*

Janae: I finally got back at that ugly mutt yesterday!

Imoska: What did you do?

Janae: Prank called her!

Imoska: She totally deserved it!

Janae: I know. I saved her number on my phone, by the way.

Imoska: I wouldn't prank her again.

Janae: Who knows if I will again or not? Wanna have lunch?

Imoska: Sure.

Janae: Gloria was always going on about her figure. She even compared you to the principal!

Imoska: *looks determined* You know how I told you not to prank Gloria again?

*Janae nods*

Imoska: Ring her off a private number!

Janae: This is going to be another classic! *dials Gloria's number*

*Imoska laughs*

Meanwhile, Abby (having spent the night with Peter) is waiting for a bus to take her home when Lilly approaches her.

Lilly: Hey loser!

Abby: What do you want?

Lilly: I'm on my way to see Peter.

Abby: Get it through your thick skull, Lilly! He wants NOTHING to do with you!

Lilly: Why? He's my bestie.

Abby: WAS your bestie!

Lilly: What's that supposed to mean?

Abby: You know what I mean!

Lilly: How Peter would date a worthless, pathetic and ugly cheerleader before you is beyond me!

*Abby is FURIOUS!!!*

Abby: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE INSULTING ME LIKE THAT?!? YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK OF YOU?!? I THINK YOU ARE A SPOILED BRAT THAT THINKS SHE CAN HAVE THINGS HER WAY WHEN IN ACTUAL FACT SHE CAN'T!!!! IF YOU DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE, I WILL HAVE A RESTRAINING ORDER OUT ON YOU!!!

*Lilly storms off angrily*

Lilly: *muttering under her breath* We'll see about that!

NEXT TIME

- Peter ignores Lilly and tells the others what she said to Abby, angering Janae.

Episode 43

At school on Monday, Lilly tries talking to Peter.

Lilly: Peter...

Peter: Save it Lilly!
Lilly: Can I just explain...

Peter: EXPLAIN WHAT?!? EXPLAIN HOW YOU TRIED TO DAMAGE MY GIRLFRIEND'S SELF-CONFIDENCE!

Lilly: I'm sorry.

Peter: You know what Lilly? You can get stuffed because I hate you!

*Lilly runs off as Sabrina approaches him*

Sabrina: Is everything sweet?

Peter: I want a group meeting. Tell the others to meet up in the basketball courts.

(A few minutes later, Tracey and the others have gathered for the meeting.)

Tracey: What's the matter Peter?

Peter: You know how we've been having problems with Lilly Jordan?

Jacob: Yeah.

Peter: Well, she's decided to take things to a whole new low.

Imoska: What did she do?

Peter: She decided to tell Abby that she was worthless, ugly and pathetic!

*Janae is LIVID!!!*

Janae: WHAT?!?

Peter: Yep, she pretty much tried to damage Abby's self-confidence.

Janae: OH THAT BITCH IS GOING TO BE SORRY!!! WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON HER!

Sabrina: I'll join ya bestie.

Janae: Lilly Jordan is dead meat!

*Everyone nods in agreement*

Tracey is walking around Westfield Warrawong after school when someone taps her on the shoulder.

*Tracey turns around and sees that it's Laura Hague.*

Laura: Hey Tracey.

Tracey: Can I help you?

Laura: Look, I know we've had our differences but I just wanted to be the bigger person and apologise for causing trouble.

Tracey: Really?

Laura: Yes really.

Tracey: So, what brings you back to Warrawong? I heard you p***ed off.

Laura: Oh, my brother was annoying me so I moved in with my boyfriend in Warilla.

Tracey: That's nice Laura.

Laura: Did you want my number?

Tracey: Okay.

*Laura and Tracey exchange phone numbers*

Laura: It was lovely seeing you.

*Tracey looks freaked out as Laura hugs her*

Tracey: You too.

Laura: Bye. *walks off*
Tracey: *to herself* That was unexpected.

Outside Warrawong High, Lilly is waiting for someone when Janae approaches her.

Janae: I want a word with you!

*Lilly looks annoyed*

Episode 44

Outside Warrawong High, Lilly is waiting for someone when Janae approaches her.

Janae: I want a word with you!

*Lilly looks annoyed*

Lilly: What do you want, Janae? I'm waiting for my mother to pick me up!

Janae: I think you have a very good idea at what I want to talk to you about!

Lilly: Look, if this is about Abby...

Janae: ABBY HAD SELF-CONFIDENCE ISSUES IN HIGH SCHOOL AS WELL AS BITCHES LIKE YOU BULLYING HER!!!

Lilly: Well, I'm sorry but that girl has a face like a bulldog!

*Janae grabs Lilly by the shirt*

Janae: IF YOU EVER INSULT MY COUSIN OR ANY OF MY FRIENDS AGAIN YOU IGNORANT LITTLE S**T, I'LL PUT YOU IN HOSPITAL! GOT THAT BITCH?!?

*Lilly just nods her head*

Janae: Good! *lets Lilly go*

Lilly: Can you leave me alone now?!?

Janae: Sure!

*As Lilly goes to walk away, Janae sticks out her foot and trips Lilly over*

Janae: Oh, I'm sorry! Was my foot in the way?

*Lilly glares at Janae as she walks away laughing*

(Meanwhile, Tracey is over at Sabrina's house since Jacob is over at Peter's house.)

Tracey: You won't believe who I seen at Westfield!

Sabrina: Who?

Tracey: Do you know Laura Hague?

Sabrina: Yes! She's a f***ing bitch!

Tracey: That's who I ran into.

*Janae enters the house*

Janae: Who'd you ran into, bestie?

Tracey: Laura Hague.

Janae: Stay away from her!

Tracey: She wasn't exactly Gloria's favourite person. When I used to live with the Alan and Cheryl, I remember having to save Gloria from Laura twice!

Sabrina: Why?

Tracey: Apparently, Laura was after Gloria's money.

Janae: Not true! Gloria used to buy drugs from Laura!

Sabrina: Drug dealing little bitch!

Tracey: So, THAT'S what the money was for! Gloria told me she borrowed the money for petrol!

Janae: That just proves Gloria's a lying sack of s**t!

Tracey: Laura even gave me her mobile phone number.

Janae: Can I have it?

Sabrina: Why? You'll just prank her anyway!

Janae: That's the whole reason behind it bestie.

*Tracey gives Janae Laura's mobile number*

Tracey: Use it wisely.

Janae: Oh, I will. Don't worry about that. *smiles*

Episode 45

A woman sees Lilly throw herself towards the bus and pulls her back.

Woman: You stupid girl! Do you realise that you could've been killed?!?
*Lilly just stares at the woman*

Woman: If that bus driver knocked you down, he would've had to live with that for the rest of his life!

*Lilly runs off*

(Meanwhile, Peter and Abby are spending time together.)

Peter: I love you, babe.

Abby: I love you too.

Peter: You want to come to cheerleading practice tomorrow?

Abby: I don't think I'll go anymore. I just can't stand the fact of seeing Imogen Douglas being the head cheerleader because she's dating one of the Hawks players. I find that really unfair.

Peter: So, what are you going to do about it?

Abby: I'm going to write a letter to the CEO of the Wollongong Hawks and making an official complaint against Imogen and the coach. I reckon the coach has been giving Imogen deals behind the other cheerleaders backs.

Peter: Are you sure?

Abby: Positive. Cam and I have witnessed it many times.

Peter: I just want to kiss those lips.

Abby: Then do it. *smiles*

*Peter and Abby kiss passionately*

(That night, Cam is in her Bellambi unit speaking to her older brother on the phone.)

Cam: So, when are you coming down? Oh, that's fantastic! I can't wait to see you. You take care now. Bye bro. *hangs up the phone as Abby walks in*

Abby: Bro?

Cam: Oh hey Abby. I didn't see you come in.

Abby: Was that Jordan on the phone?

Cam: It sure was. He's coming down from New Zealand just to see me. How sweet is that?

Abby: I haven't seen him in like four years. I just hope he remembers me.

Cam: I'm sure he will. By the way, have you wrote that letter the Hawks CEO?

Abby: I sure did. Want to see it?

Cam: I sure do.

*Abby gives Cam the letter*

Cam: Wow! I never knew you had such good vocabulary!

Abby: When I'm really p***ed off, my vocabulary is through the roof!

Cam: Just hope the CEO takes action.

Abby: He better. Otherwise, this whole thing would've been for nothing.

Cam: I know.

On Friday night, Janae and Sarah are having an argument over Aunty Kim's visit the next day.

Janae: I'M NOT SEEING HER AND THAT'S THE END OF IT!

Sarah: SHE IS YOUR AUNTY AND I EXPECT YOU TO SHOW HER SOME RESPECT!

Janae: WELL, SHE CAN GO KISS MY ****! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HER AFTER WHAT SHE SAID TO ME! I HATE HER AND I WISH SHE'D DIE!!!

Sarah: THAT'S A HORRIBLE THING TO SAY, JANAE ROSE!!!!

Janae: DON'T CARE! *storms upstairs*

Sarah: I HAVEN'T FINISHED TALKING TO YOU JANAE!!!
Janae: WELL, I HAVE!!! *slams her bedroom door shut*

*Sarah sighs*

(Janae immediately goes over to Sabrina's house the next day. Tracey is there as well.)
Sabrina: Hey bestie.

Janae: I know you and Tracey had plans today, but could I join you guys?

Tracey: Sure. You look freaked out. What's up?

Janae: My Aunty Kim has decided to visit!

*Sabrina pulls a disgusted face*

Sabrina: That bitch!

Tracey: Wait a minute. Is she the one you had a go at outside Coles when I first met you, Janae?

Janae: Sure is. Call me a tragic case! She should take care of that s**tty daughter of hers!

Sabrina: *sarcastically* How is Sandra the s**t?

Janae: Probably pregnant by now. Stupid bitch!

Tracey: How old is Sandra?

Janae: She's 15.

Tracey: Don't you think she's a bit young to think about having children?

Janae: That's what I told Mum and for once she agreed with me.

Tracey: How many other children has the bitchy Aunt got?

Janae: She has two. Sandra and the oldest child, Mark. Mark's nice.

Sabrina: Where's Mark these days

Janae: He's up in Lismore living with his girlfriend. Hasn't spoken to Aunty Kim and Sandra for years.

Tracey: Oh how come?

Janae: He can't stand them.

Tracey: That's understandable.

Sabrina: Just hope we don't run into the bitch down at Westfield.

Janae: Why would she go there if she's visiting Mum?

Sabrina: You do have a point there, bestie.

Tracey: Hope we don't run into Laura Hague today.

Sabrina: Laura's nothing but a dole bludging junkie, not too mention a troublemaking little bitch!

Janae: She just reminds me of Gloria the mutt!

*Tracey laughs*

Tracey: That was awkward seeing her on Monday. *doing an imitation of Laura* I know we've had our differences, but I just want to make peace.

*Janae and Sabrina crack up laughing*

Janae: She does talk like a dog!

Sabrina: More like a goat!

*The three girls crack up laughing as they leave the house*

When Tracey arrives home later, she sees Jacob on the sofa with a letter in his hand.

Tracey: I'm back.

Jacob: *sadly* How was shopping with the girls?

Tracey: It was good actually.

*Jacob looks at Tracey. He's been crying.*

Tracey: Jacob, what's the matter?

Jacob: Read it. It's from my cousin in Samoa.

*Tracey reads the letter*

Tracey: Oh, Jacob. I'm really sorry.

Jacob: I just can't believe it. My favourite Uncle being diagnosed with terminal cancer. I just don't know what I'm going to do.

*Tracey hugs Jacob*

NEXT TIME

- Jacob agonises over paying his uncle a visit in Samoa or staying at school

- Tracey becomes concerned about Janae's fractured relationship with most of her family members

- Tasmine has a terrible accident, which is witnessed by Sabrina

Episode 46

Tracey is comforting Jacob over the letter.

Tracey: When did your uncle find out about the cancer?

Jacob: Last night.

Tracey: Oh.

Jacob: I seriously want to fly over to Samoa and be with him, but there are a few things that I’m committed too.

Tracey: Like school for instance?

Jacob: Yes. It would be different if I was in Year 9 or something, but I’m in Year 11.

Tracey: So?

Jacob: So, I can’t miss out on the yearly exams. Besides, I don’t have the money to go.

Tracey: I’d give it to you.

Jacob: Bestie, even you know you don’t have that sort of money.

Tracey: I was only trying to help.

Jacob: I know. That’s why I love you.

Tracey: How about your parents?

Jacob: They couldn’t afford it either.

Tracey: Sorry to hear that.

Jacob: I’m so undecided at the moment. Part of me wants to fly over there and part of me wants to stay at school.

Tracey: Whatever decision you make, I’ll support you.

Jacob: Thanks bestie.

*Tracey and Jacob hug*

On Monday, Janae storms over to Tracey, Sabrina and Imoska the minute she arrives at school.

Janae: Don’t p*** me off today!

Imoska: Had a bad weekend?

Janae: I’m this close to living with my Dad in Nowra. *shows the girls exactly how close to breaking point she is*

Tracey: Problems with your mother?

Janae: The minute I got home on Saturday, she full had a go at me because I spent time with you and Sabrina.

Sabrina: That’s a bit over the top, don’t you think? You are allowed to have friends, Janae.

Janae: Exactly! She was just p***ed because I wouldn’t spend time with Aunty Kim. As if I’d spend time with that old mutt! Hell will freeze over first.

Imoska: But how are you going to get from Nowra to Warrawong? It takes nearly an hour by car.

Janae: I’d go to school there.

Tracey: Don’t do that!

Sabrina: If you leave, I’ll never speak to you again.

Tracey: Emotional blackmail much?

Sabrina: No. Janae has been my best friend since Year 5. I can’t stand the thought of losing her.

Tracey: Same goes for me.

Imoska: And me.

Janae: Thanks girls. I’m just over my mother at the moment.

*Tasmine approaches the girls*

Tasmine: Hey everyone.

Tracey: Hey Tas.

*Tasmine high-fives everyone before playfully slapping Janae’s face*

Janae: Don’t! I’m not in the mood, Tasmine.

Tasmine: What’s up your a**e?

Janae: Mum’s being a bitch. We got into a massive argument last night.

Tasmine: That sucks.

Janae: I’m leaving this afternoon, so I need a place to crash.

Tracey: I’d let you stay with me and Jacob.

Janae: Thanks, but I want Jacob to be with you at the moment. He’s going through a lot at the moment.

Sabrina: Come stay with me.

Janae: Isn’t Leah coming sometime this week?

Sabrina: So, you can bunk in my room.

Janae: Cool.

Imoska: I’ll see you girls later. I’m going to see what Alaina’s doing.

Tasmine: Same.

Tracey: Bye girls.

*Imoska and Tasmine walk off*

Janae: I might leg it, too. I need some weed.

Sabrina: Later bestie.

*Janae walks off*

Tracey: I’m getting worried about her.

Sabrina: Who?

Tracey: Janae. She doesn’t get along with most of her family members.

Sabrina: Can you blame her? I know her mother means well, but she shouldn’t make Janae talk to Sandra and Kim.

Tracey: I know. Has your Mum tried making you talk to your cousin?

Sabrina: No. Speaking of Tyra, she calls me last night and goes “How come you don’t talk to me anymore?” and I say to her “Because you’re a two-faced bitch.” before hanging up on her.

Tracey: Did she ring back?

Sabrina: Four times! Each time, I rejected the calls. I want nothing to do with her after what she did to Brooke.

Tracey: That was pretty low.

Sabrina: It sure was. Is Jacob coming to school today?

Tracey: He’ll be in later. He’s going to see his parents this morning.

Sabrina: Poor guy. Jacob’s like a brother to me, same with Peter.

Tracey: What about me?

Sabrina: *sarcastically* Are you guy?

Tracey: Of course not!

Sabrina: There’s your answer. Tracey, you are like a sister to me.

Tracey: Oh thanks.

Sabrina: Stay off the drugs, though.

Tracey: The only drugs I take a medicine when I’m sick.

Sabrina: Good girl. *smiles*

*Tracey smiles back*

Later that morning, Abby returns from the modelling agency in a foul mood.

Cam: What’s wrong, Abz?

Abby: I just got off the phone with the CEO of the Wollongong Hawks and he said that you and I have been spreading rumours about Imogen.

Cam: That’s a lie! Who told him that?

Abby: The little sneak herself. She was called into his office this morning and she played the “feel sorry for me” card. She’s a snitch and a liar!

Cam: What happens now?

Abby: Imogen is going to cop it this afternoon when we go to practice. Oh and that’s not all, she told the CEO that you victimised her in the locker room last Friday.

Cam: That’s bull****! It was HER victimising Michelle Morris and I told her off for it! Even Michelle can tell you herself.

Abby: She’s dead when we get to practice. I’ll be exposing her every lie!

Cam: Now if only I had my voice recorder…

Abby: Who needs it? I have one on my phone.

Cam: Awesome!

Abby: Imogen Douglas is going down.

(That afternoon, Tasmine is riding her skateboard towards the school gate and almost knocks into Sabrina.)

Sabrina: Be careful, Taz.

Tasmine: Sorry Sabrina. *rides off*

*As Sabrina walks out of the gate, she hears the sound of car tyres screeching and a loud thud!*

Sabrina: What was that?!?

*Sabrina races over to find Tasmine lying face down on the road, her skateboard flung across the grass*

Sabrina: TASMINE!!!

*Tracey and Janae see what has happened and immediately race over as other Warrawong High students watch on in horror and disbelief*

Janae: What happened to her?

Female Driver: She just pulled out in front of me. I tried to stop in time.

Tracey: I’ll call an ambulance.

Female Driver: *crying* I have a daughter of my own.

Sabrina: It wasn’t your fault.

*Sabrina comforts the woman as Janae kneels over Tasmine*

Janae: You better pull through, Tasmine McCreed. We can’t lose you.

NEXT TIME

- Tasmine is rushed to Wollongong Hospital

- Abby and Cam get their revenge on Imogen

- Tracey becomes worried when Jacob doesn’t come home

WHEN THE TRACEY TURNER STORY CONTINUES

Question of the day: Who was at fault? Tasmine or the driver?
