To be honest, I don't remember the first Dexter because he was so underdevloped and didn't mean much to me. But this new Dexter, I love him to bits.

Just wanted to say, one of the checkout assistants in our supermarket is the spitting image of Dex/ Charles, he's even got the same attitude, friendly and geeky. If only I was (cof cof cof) years younger You can all come to see if you like...

I couldn't see the first Dex getting up to the antics like the second Dex has been and portraying it soooo well. Charles has definitely made Dex a more likeable character and to see him grow with each storyline is wonderful to watch.

The second Dex gets my vote hands down.

You've gotta wonder though, what would Charles have been like portraying a younger Dex during the Jai/Annie/Dex storyline....
