Episode 100

At lunch, Alexis sees Mareta in the playground and immediately storms over to her.

Mareta: Hey Lexi!

Alexis: Don't "Hey Lexi" me you backstabbing s**t!

Mareta: *shocked* What are you talking about?

Alexis: You betrayed your best friend!

Mareta: Correction. SHE betrayed me!

Alexis: That letter was forged.

Mareta: What proof do you have?
*Alexis thrusts the letter in Mareta's face*
Alexis: NOTICE THE SIGNATURE!!!

Mareta: It doesn't look forged to me.

Alexis: I know a forged signature when I see one!

Mareta: This really isn't any of your business.

Alexis: Donna is one of my best friends and I will NOT allow her to get hurt by some ignorant little cow like you!
*Mareta looks like she's been slapped in the face*

Mareta: I thought we were friends, Lexi.

Alexis: WERE friends! Not anymore! *storms off*

(Meanwhile, Sumara walks over to the canteen and sees a bunch of students laughing.)

Sumara: What's funny?
Boy: You should see this drawing Natalie did!

*Sumara sees the drawing and it's that of Donna crying herself to sleep*

Sumara: RIGHT!!! *rips the drawing off the wall*
Girl: HEY! What are you doing?!?

Sumara: DID DONNA SEE THIS?!?

*The students nod meekly*

Sumara: You're a bunch of bullies! *storms over to Alexis* You will NOT believe this!

Alexis: What is it?
*Sumara shows Alexis the drawing*

Alexis: *now fuming* WHO DID THAT?!?

Sumara: Good old Natalie!

Alexis: I see! Well, she's going to cop it off me now!

At TAFE, Vicki and Tevita are sitting with Alison in the cafeteria.

Vicki: We've done some thinking.

Alison: About what?

Tevita: Your ultimatum.

Alison: Oh that. So, what have you decided on?
Tevita: We've decided not to fight tomorrow night. For your sake and the rest of our friends.

Alison: That's what I like to hear.

*Vicki and Tevita smile at Alison*

Vicki: Tomorrow night's going to be fun.

Alison: Sure is. *smiles*

*Melissa approaches them*

Melissa: We're going home after lunch.

Alison: We are?

Melissa: Lolly decided to send us home early.

Alison: Awesome!

(Later that afternoon, Donna is in the office in tears when Alexis approaches her.)
Alexis: Donna?

Donna: I can't deal with this anymore. I'm sick of being treated like s**t by my so-called friends!

Alexis: You have real friends too. *looks at Donna sympathetically*

Donna: I've signed out of school! No one will have to see me anymore!

Alexis: NO! Don't do that! *on the verge of tears*

Donna: *sobbing* I already have. The bullying has taken it's toll on me and I can't take in anymore!

*Alexis hugs Donna tight as a car honks it's horn*

Donna: That's my ride home. We'll talk more later tonight. *continues to cry as she leaves*

*A furious Alexis decides to give Natalie a piece of her mind once and for all! She ends up finding Natalie near the oval*

Natalie: What do you want?!?

Alexis: YOU F***ING BITCH! *punches Natalie in the face*

*The force of the punch hits Natalie so hard that she hits her head on the ground, knocking her out cold*

Episode 101

Later that afternoon, Alexis is drinking a milkshake at Harleys when Sumara and Madison walk in.

Madison: Guess what?

Alexis: *depressed* What?

Madison: Natalie's been taken to hospital.

Alexis: Why?

Madison: I think she was bashed.

*Alexis looks down*

Sumara: Do you know anything about it bestie?

Alexis: Of course not. I must thank the person who did it though. I might give them a medal.

*Sumara and Madison look at each other*

Alexis: You think I did it, didn't you?

Sumara: Madison, I want to talk to Alexis in private.

Madison: Sure. *heads out*

Sumara: I don't think you did it, I KNOW you did it.

Alexis: How did you...

Sumara: I've been your best friend since Year 2, I can read you like a book.

Alexis: I didn't think she'd hit her head on the concrete.

Sumara: Let's not worry about that now. What you have to do is tell the truth to Mr Armstrong.

Alexis: And what will he do? Expel me.

Sumara: I don't think Donna would've wanted you to do this.

Alexis: I only did it for her.

*Sumara hugs Alexis, who looks upset*

(Outside, Ella storms over to Madison.)

Ella: Where's that bitch?!?

Madison: Who?

Ella: Alexis Thorpe, that's who! I'm going to murder her!

Madison: Try it!

Ella: Turned into a little toughie have we Williams?!?

Madison: Well, Alexis isn't here. She's gone to McDonalds.

Ella: Thanks. *storms away*

*Madison breathes a sigh of relief*

At school the next morning (Friday), Alexis is with Linda and Sophie, who are in Year 9 and Year 11 respectively.

Linda: Heard you knocked Evans out?

Alexis: Yeah so?

Linda: About time you knocked some sense into her.

Alexis: Thanks Linda.

Sophie: So, what happens now?

Alexis: I have to go to the principal and explain my side of the story.

Sophie: I'm sure Armstrong will give you a fair go.

Alexis: Sophie, I just hope I don't get expelled.

Sophie: Why is that?

Alexis: Because that's what Ella Chastain has been going around and telling everyone.

Linda: She needs to be taught a lesson. Can we beat her up?
Alexis: Thanks girls.

Sophie: In exchange, you have to give us money for smokes.

Alexis: Fair enough. *smiles*

(Elsewhere in the school, Mareta is reading a book when Sumara walks over to her.)

Sumara: I am really angry at you!

Mareta: Why?

Sumara: Donna has dropped out of school because of you what you and that bitch Natalie have done!

*Mareta looks shocked*

Mareta: Really?

Sumara: Yes, really! I don't even know why I'm talking to you, but you have made me so angry that I don't even think I want to be your friend anymore!

Mareta: Sumara...

Sumara: Goodbye Mareta! *runs off*

*Mareta covers her face with her hands and starts to cry*

Mareta: I'm sorry I failed you Donna. *sobs*

When school finishes that afternoon, Ella is about to reach the tunnel to go home when Linda and Sophie approach her.

Ella: Why ladies? What can I do for you?

Linda: GRAB HER SOPHIE!!!

*Sophie grabs Ella's arms*

Ella: Let me go! Get off me!

Linda: Are you going to stop spreading rumours about my friends?!?

Ella: I don't know what you're talking about!

Sophie: I think you do sweetheart!

*Linda punches Ella in the stomach*

Linda: ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE ALEXIS AND HER FRIENDS ALONE?!?

Ella: *spluttering* Yes!

Linda: Good!

Sophie: CLEAR OFF BITCH!

*Ella runs off, clutching her stomach*

(At Harleys, Linda and Sophie approach Alexis and Sumara.)

Linda: So, where's the dough?

*Alexis hands Linda and Sophie $20 each*

Alexis: Here you go.

Sophie: Thanks. See you on Monday.

*Linda and Sophie leave*

Sumara: What was that about?

Alexis: Oh nothing.

Sumara: So, how did it go with Mr Armstrong?

Alexis: It went rather well actually. I have an after school detention on Monday.

Sumara: See, I told you he'd be fair.

Alexis: I wouldn't have done it without you. Thanks bestie.

Sumara: No worries.

*they hug*

That night, Alison and her friends are having dinner at Rashay's.

Alison: This is nice, isn't it?

Sylvia: It sure is.

*However, the mood is tense between Vicki and Tevita*

Melissa: What did you think of TAFE today guys?

Vicki: *tense* I thought it went rather well.

Tevita: What's with the tense tone?
Vicki: I'm not being tense!
Tevita: Yes, you are!

Rachael: I'm going home. I didn't come here to listen to any arguments!

Alison: Rachael?

Rachael: I'll call you tomorrow, Ali. *leaves*

*Alison glares at both Vicki and Tevita*

Vicki: Sorry Ali.

Alison: I've tried to be nice about this, but I can't anymore! Vicki, you and Tevita are out of the group.

Vicki: *shocked* Why?!?
Alison: I'm sick of you guys fighting like cats and dogs!

Everyone: That's right!

Vicki: *to Tevita* Thanks a lot! *runs out crying*

Tevita: *depressed* Bye girls. *goes after Vicki*

Melissa: That was a bit harsh, don't you think?

Alison: It's only to teach them a lesson. *looks sad, but determined*

Episode 102

The next day (Saturday), Alison decides to spend time with the Caliente twins.

Nina: How've you been, Ali? It's been weeks since we seen you.

Alison: Had a lot of things go on. *gives Nina a hug*

Nina: Yeah. Mel told us about Vicki and Tevita and how you are trying to get everyone in the group to get along.

Alison: I'm over those two bringing their arguments into the group.

Dina: How was dinner last night? *hugs Alison*

Alison: Didn't Melissa tell you what happened?

Dina: No, she didn't. When she came home, she just crashed on the sofa.

Alison: Vicki and Tevita had yet another argument and Rachael ended up going home.

Dina: What did you do?

Alison: I very firmly told them that they're out of the group until they can stop arguing.

Nina: Seems fair.

Dina: I would've done the exact same thing.

Alison: But was I too harsh?

Nina: Ali, sometimes you have to be harsh to do the right thing.

Dina: Trust me. I know. *points at Nina* I ditched this one at the Irish Pub back in Pleasantview. Biggest mistake I ever made.

Alison: *laughing* Why?

Nina: I got my revenge by ditching her at KFC in West Pleasantview.

Dina: I ended up getting a bus home. Trust me, carrying a large bucket of chicken on a bus isn't exactly fun.

*Alison laughs*

Alison: Did you get it back in one piece?

Dina: Oh absolutely. When I got home though, I poured tomato sauce all over Nina's brand new skirt.

Nina: You know it took nearly a week to get the stain out?

Dina: I know.

Alison: That's funny.

*Nina and Dina start laughing as well*

(Over at Vicki's, the mood in the camp is far from happy. Her and Tevita have given each other the silent treatment for most of the morning.)

Vicki: Cameron, why don't you go over and see what Leon is doing today?

Cameron: *holds a flashcard* Sure.

*Cameron leaves the house*

Tevita: How's he getting there?

Vicki: Leon's house isn't that far! God, stop stressing out!

Tevita: Hey, I'm not the one that got us excluded from our friends.

Vicki: YOU did that, not me!

Tevita: Now, just a minute....

Vicki: I was crying this morning because you cost me my friends!

Tevita: Vicki!

Vicki: I would never do this to you! I love you!

Tevita: You'd never think it, though.

*Vicki looks really offended*

Vicki: Excuse me?!?

Tevita: You heard.

Vicki: You know what, Tevita? If that's how you really feel, pack your bags! *storms upstairs before a door is heard slamming*

*Tevita sighs*

That afternoon, Alexis is at her house watching TV when she sees Sumara approaching the front door.

*Alexis immediately comes out of the house*

Alexis: Hey bestie!

Sumara: I really need to talk to you.

*Alexis and Sumara kiss each other on the cheek and then hug*

Alexis: Ready to go see Donna before we head off to the movies?

Sumara: Sure. I really hope Donna's okay, though.

Alexis: Same here.

(However, when Alexis and Sumara arrive at Donna's house, they find Donna packing some of her belongings into her father's car.)

Sumara: Donna?

Donna: I'm so glad to see you guys.

Alexis: Are you going somewhere?

Donna: I've done some thinking and I'm going to live with my cousin on the Gold Coast.

*Sumara and Alexis look stunned*

Alexis: When? This afternoon?

Donna: Why should I stay here when half of Civic High hate my guts? If I move to the Gold Coast, I can get my life on track.

Sumara: But what are you going to do there?

Donna: I might go to school or even find a job.

*Alexis starts to cry*

Donna: Oh, Alexis. Don't cry. *pulls Alexis into a hug*

Alexis: You've got plenty of people that still care about you, Donna Maynard.

Donna: But not enough for me to stay here.

Sumara: We'll miss you, sis.

*Donna hugs Sumara*

Donna: Say goodbye to Hayley and all them for me, won't you?

Sumara: I will. *wipes away a tear*

*Donna gets into the car and waves at the girls as it drives away*

Sumara: You okay bestie?

Alexis: No. I just want to beat the living s**t out of that backstabbing cow!

Sumara: Whatever you do, don't let it damage your relationship with Riggz.

Alexis: Oh believe me. I won't.

(At the Varu's house, Mareta is vacuuming the living room floor when she hears loud banging on the front door.)

Mareta: I'm coming.

*Alexis enters the house and slams the door behind her*

Alexis: I want to talk to you!

Mareta: What's the matter?

Alexis: What's the matter? Donna Maynard has just left town!

Mareta: Really? How come?

*Alexis slaps Mareta so hard that she nearly falls to the floor*

Alexis: YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A BACKSTABBING LITTLE BITCH!!! THANKS TO YOU AND THOSE WORTHLESS SACKS OF S**T, POOR DONNA HAS GONE TO LIVE WITH HER COUSIN IN QUEENSLAND!!! I HOPE YOU'RE PROUD OF YOURSELF!!!
Mareta: I never intended for this to happen. The last thing I wanted to do was...

Alexis: SAVE IT!

Riggot: *coming downstairs* Hey! What's going on here?!?

Alexis: DO YOU WANT TO TELL HIM OR DO I?!?

*Mareta starts crying*

Alexis: YOUR BITCH OF A SISTER HAS JUST CAUSED POOR DONNA TO LEAVE THE CITY FOR GOOD!!!

Riggot: Donna Maynard's moved away?

Alexis: That's right!

Riggot: *pulling Mareta into a hug* It's going to be okay. *to Alexis* I think you should leave!

Alexis: Are you seriously defending her over me?!?

Riggot: While I don't condone her actions, at the end of the day Mareta is my sister and she is family.

Alexis: This is bloody ridiculous!

Riggot: Well, I think you're being ridiculous right now! You better pull it together before our double date tonight.

Alexis: There isn't going to be a double date!

Riggot: What do you mean by that?

Alexis: Since you're busy defending your so-called saint of a sister, I've decided to not go out tonight! *storms off*

*Riggot looks defeated as he hugs Mareta*

Episode 103

Mareta is still crying over what happened with Alexis.

Mareta: It’s all my fault. If only I had asked Donna about it, she wouldn’t have packed up and left.

Riggot: You thought it was her handwriting.

Mareta: I was certain it was, but now I’m not so sure.

Riggot: Don’t worry about it, sis. I’m sure Donna will come around eventually.

Mareta: What if she doesn’t?

*Riggot hugs Mareta as she cries*

Riggot: Then, there’s not much you can do.

Mareta: Alexis hates my guts. I’ve completely ruined her trust.

Riggot: She’ll get over it. She just needs to calm down a bit.

*Riggot continues to hug Mareta*

(At Vicki’s house, Alison knocks on the front door. She’s decided to talk to Vicki about last night.)

*Vicki opens the door*

Vicki: I didn’t expect you to be here.

Alison: Can we talk?

Vicki: I guess. Come in.

*Alison enters the house*

Alison: I don’t hold anything against you and Tevita, but I had to do what was right.

Vicki: I wouldn’t worry about it. We had ANOTHER argument this morning.

Alison: I see.

Vicki: But I don’t want to risk losing my friends because of mine and Tevita’s relationship troubles. Since I moved to the city, I’ve found a great group of friends. I don’t want to lose them and go back to the old Vicki that had trouble trusting people.

Alison: It won’t happen. I can promise you that.

Vicki: How long am I out of the group for?

Alison: Right now, you’re on probation.

Vicki: Probation?

Alison: Probation being that if you don’t argue with Tevita for a couple days, we could let you hang with us again.

Vicki: Is he on probation too?

Alison: Of course he is.

Vicki: I suppose I’ll see you around at TAFE this week.

Alison: This wasn’t an easy decision, you know.

Vicki: I understand.

Alison: I’ll show myself out.

*Alison leaves the house as Vicki starts to cry*

The next morning (Sunday), Sylvia is writing a letter when her mother walks in.

Mrs Jackson: Who are we writing a letter do, dear?

Sylvia: I’m joining a dating service.

Mrs Jackson: You’re WHAT?!?

Sylvia: That’s right. I want to look for a man. I’m tired of being single.

Mrs Jackson: Don’t you think you’re being a bit overzealous?

Sylvia: Mum, I’ll be 21 next month. I need a man that will love me for me.

Mrs Jackson: But a dating service? I’m not so sure.

Sylvia: What do you think? *hands Mrs Jackson the form*

Mrs Jackson: *reading the form out loud* My name is Sylvia Jackson. I was born on September 8, 1968. My mother’s name is Glenys. Dear, you actually put an “I” on my name not a “y”.

Sylvia: Oops! Good thing I wrote it in pencil.

*Sylvia erases her mistake*

Sylvia: Do you have my support?

Mrs Jackson: Well, you are legally an adult. I can’t stop you from joining a dating service, but whatever makes you happy I’ll support you all the way.

Sylvia: Thanks Mum.

*Mrs Jackson and Sylvia hug*

(Later that day, Alexis is on the phone to Riggot. She is still not happy about what happened the day before.)

Alexis: Well, let me tell you something Riggot! I do not appreciate you standing up for your sister after the way she treated Donna! She’s upset?!? I’M upset!!!

*Alexis hears loud banging noises on the front door*

Alexis: Look Riggot, I’ll call you back! *slams the phone down and goes towards the door*

*The banging gets louder*

Alexis: I’m coming! I’m coming!

*Alexis opens the door and is disturbed at what she is seeing on her front porch. It‘s Stacey Marshall covered in blood and bruises*

Alexis: Stacey?

Stacey: Can I come in? I need a place to stay.

Alexis: What on earth happened to you?

Stacey: I’ll explain once I come inside.

*Alexis looks really concerned*

ON THE NEXT EPISODE OF ALISON PATTERSON’S JOURNEY

- Alison decides to help organise a picnic for her and Rachael’s church

Episode 104

Alexis helps Stacey inside the house.
Alexis: What the bloody hell happened to you?
Stacey: I’ve had enough of them. I’m sick of it!
Alexis: Had enough of who?
Stacey: My mother and sister! That’s who!
Alexis: Did they do this to you?
Stacey: Yeah. Add that to the many times they’ve been physically abusive towards me.
Alexis: Are you bloody serious, Stacey?!? *looks infuriated*
*Stacey nods*
Alexis: Well, I’m just glad that you managed to escape. How did you get here anyway?
Stacey: I took the train. The minute Mum took Anna to the shops, I immediately packed my bags and fled!
*Alexis is more or less furious*
Alexis: How dare they bloody do that to you?!?
Stacey: Mum has always hated me. You know what the sad part is, though? She gets Anna to join in.
Alexis: Oh, if I ever see your mother and sister…
Stacey: Don’t bash them, Alexis. You’ll only make things worse. Can I please stay with you?
Alexis: I’ll ask Mum.
*Claire comes downstairs*
Claire: Ask me what?
Alexis: Can my friend Stacey move in with us? Look what her mother and sister have been doing to her!
*Alexis shows Stacey’s bloodied and bruised body*
Claire: She can stay as long as she wants. Let me clean you up, darling.
*Claire and Alexis help Stacey upstairs*
(At Riggot's house, he is sitting in the living room looking sad when he hears the front door knock.)
Riggot: I’m coming.
*Riggot opens the door to find Sumara standing there*
Riggot: Oh, hey Sumara.
Sumara: Is my bestie here?
Riggot: Alexis isn’t speaking to me at the moment.
Sumara: How come?
Riggot: I think you should come in.
*Sumara enters the house*
Sumara: So, did you and Lexi have a lovers tiff?
Riggot: I suppose you could say that.
Sumara: What about?
Riggot: Over Mareta.
Sumara: I guess she’s still mad at your sister over Donna leaving. Can’t say I blame her.
Riggot: I just knew you’d stick up for Lexi!
Sumara: Alexis has been my best friend since primary school.
Riggot: What’s that got to do with it?
Sumara: There was no justification for what Mareta did. The same goes for Natalie and Ella. But, if there is anyone that I’m angry with, it’s Natalie and Ella. I’m just disappointed in Mareta, that’s all.
Riggot: I just wish we could sort things out.
Sumara: I’d give Alexis a few days to calm down. I just know she’ll come around.
Riggot: Thanks Sumara. You’re a great friend.
*Sumara and Riggot hug*

At Alison's house, she is revising over her TAFE notes.
Rachael: *from outside* Ali!
Alison: *calling out* Come in, Rachael!
*Rachael enters the house*
Rachael: Hey. What are you doing? *kisses Alison on the cheek*
Alison: I’m just doing revision work for class.
Rachael: Sounds neat. I’ve already done mine.
Alison: I’ve been meaning to ask you if you’ve organised anything for a weekend event for our church.
Rachael: Um, I was thinking of a bake sale or a picnic.
Alison: Bake sales are so old fashioned. A picnic seems like a much better idea.
Rachael: All we need is a location.
Alison: How about Hyde Park?
Rachael: I think that’s a great idea.
Alison: We could always cook the food.
Rachael: Sounds great. Maybe we can get Amy to help us.
Alison: We should include Sylvia, Melissa and Vicki as well.
Rachael: Good idea. Oh, we can’t exclude Kat.
Alison: I’ve totally forgot about her.
Rachael: I’m sure we’ve got enough people.
Alison: I’m sure Melissa will get Dina and Nina to help out too.
Rachael: Dina’s heavily pregnant. I don’t think she’s up to do any cooking.
Alison: No, you’re right. I still think Nina will help out though.
Rachael: We’ll bring our idea to our church group next week.
Alison: Sounds great.
Rachael: High five to that.
*Alison and Rachael high five*
(That night, Alexis is setting up the spare room for Stacey.)
Stacey: Thanks for letting me stay, Alexis. I really appreciate it.
Alexis: Anything for a friend. *smiles*
Stacey: It sucks that you’re going to school tomorrow. I’m going to be here all by myself.
Alexis: Not necessarily.
Stacey: Huh? *looks confused*
Alexis: I have a way of getting you in that school.
Stacey: Some of your friends know me. It wouldn’t work.
Alexis: If you want your mother and sister off your back, you need an alias.
Stacey: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Alexis: Think of a name.
Stacey: How about Candice?
Alexis: I love it. From now on, you’ll go under the pseudonym of Candice Williams.
Stacey: How can I disguise myself?
Alexis: I got you a wig.
*Alexis hands Stacey a brown wig*
Stacey: Perfect.
Alexis: And you need glasses to cover the disguise.
*Alexis gives Stacey a pair of purple glasses that used to belong to Claire*
Stacey: I think your plan is going to go well.
Alexis: Just remember to not blow your cover.
Stacey: I won’t. *looks determined*
