*Unfortunately for Joey, Degrassi principal Daphne Hatzilakos sees it*
Daphne: Well, well Jeremiah. I see we’re causing trouble once again? My office at 4 o’clock!
Joey: But…
Daphne: And if you’re late, it’s a weekend detention!
*Joey storms off as Daphne checks on Kierain*

Heather: How did he die?
Misty: Smoke inhalation. But Mum…

Misty: All of them are buried in the local cemetery.
Heather: I’m really sorry.

Heather: Why don’t we go to the cemetery tomorrow and see your brother for his birthday?

Roseanne: He went home. He seemed really annoyed.
Alexia: Joey Jeremiah, I bet!
Roseanne: Who?
Alexia: This 8th grader who keeps picking on him!
Roseanne: I’ll fix it! *storms out*
(Meanwhile, Jackie is looking at divorce papers.)
Jackie: I can’t wait to sign these.
DJ: Are we doing homework?
Jackie: No, it’s divorce papers for Fred.
DJ: Why?
Jackie: He wants to two-time me with Lizzie, this is what he gets!
*Roseanne enters*
Roseanne: Kierain home?
DJ: No, he went somewhere.
Roseanne: Where?
DJ: Something about seeing where some Darren guy died.

*Roseanne looks at Jackie*

The next morning (Saturday), Damian is on the bus to the city on his way to Hillsong for the first time. Jack and Rose are with him.

*on the news channel they are showing a repeat of 7 Nightly News from the day Darren died.*
Jennifer Keyte: The 26 year old star was killed instantly when his car slammed into a semi trailer in South Melbourne early this morning.
Jackie: Why are they replaying this? *looks confused*
Roseanne: It IS the news channel, Jackie.
Jackie: This was months ago but.
*Darlene rolls her eyes*

Roseanne: I’M SICK OF YOU BEING MEAN TO KIERAIN ALL THE TIME! IT HAS TO STOP!
*Darlene rolls her eyes*
Darlene: He’s so annoying!
Roseanne: THAT’S IT! YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR A MONTH!
Darlene: Whatever. *walks upstairs*
*the phone rings*
Roseanne: Hello? Oh hi Bette. He’s doing well. Your tour is being extended for two weeks? Sure, of course he can stay longer. Okay thanks for calling, Bette. Bye. *hangs up the phone as Kierain walks in*
Kierain: Who was that?
Roseanne: Your mother. Her tour is being extended for two weeks so you’ll still be staying with us.
Kierain: Okay. I miss her though. *looks sad*

Judy: I’ve had so many memories here in Summer Bay. We’ve made friends, we’ve lost some and then regained some, but at the end of the day, I will always love Summer Bay.

Misty: Yeah, well here’s a gift from me Lori. *hands Lori a present*

Misty: Open it and see. *smiles*
*Lori opens the present to find a white teddy bear with a pink heart that says “Best Friend” on it*

The next morning (Saturday), Judy and Lori are loading their things into Judy’s car (a 1988 model Subaru sedan).

Paula: Where are you off to dressed like that?
Leanne: I’m going out with Kellie and Geri. We want to check out that disco in Yabbie Creek. I hear it’s good.
Paula: I thought you were going to baby-sit Max.
Leanne: I was?
Paula: Leanne, I’ve told you that I’m going over to Steph and Charlotte’s for dinner. Now who’s going to look after Max?

First thing on Monday morning, Freya heads to the General Store.
Eve: Good morning. New to town?
Freya: I arrived here on Saturday.
Eve: Oh, that’s good.
Freya: Listen, I came here about the ‘Help Wanted’ sign outside the door.
Eve: Oh, are you thinking of working at the store?
Freya: Yes. I need the money.
Eve: Strapped for cash, huh?
Freya: I need the money so I can at least rent a place here in Summer Bay.
Eve: Oh okay. In that case, you’re hired. You can start this afternoon.
Freya: Thank you so much, um….
Eve: Eve. Eve Barrow. *smiles*
Freya: Lauren’s mother?
Eve: How do you know my daughter?
Freya: She’s friends with Vicki Baxter.
Eve: I see. *smiles*
*Freya smiles back*
(At the Blaxland Mansion, Damian and Finlay talk to Jack and Rose before they head to school)
Jack: Damian, what’s going on?
Damian: That man took me again.
Rose: What?!
Finlay: Apparently, the man thought Damian was his son.
Damian: I felt sorry for him. From what Constable Walsh told Mum, Shaun had died in a car crash with his mother some six years before.
Jack: Poor guy.
Rose: He didn’t hurt you, did he?
Damian: No. He didn’t hurt me at all.
Finlay: Are you sure you want to go to school, Damian?
Damian: I’m not too sure. *looks doubtful*
Jack: You can chill with me and Rose if you’d like.
Rose: Yeah. What do you say, Fin?
Finlay: That’s great. *smiles*
Jack: Then it’s settled. *checks his watch* We better head to the bus stop. The bus to Yabbie Creek comes in five minutes.
Rose: Let’s go.
*Damian, Finlay, Jack and Rose leave the house*

At Alf and Ailsa’s, Chantelle is listening to the radio.

DJ James: You think the secret voice is Celine Dion?
Chantelle: Yes.
DJ James: Chantelle…YOU ARE RIGHT!
*Chantelle squeals in delight*
Chantelle: Thank you so much!
DJ James: You have won front row tickets to see Marydancin. And not only that, you’ll get to see them backstage as well!
Chantelle: WOW! Thank you so much!
*Chantelle hangs up the phone and does a little dance*
Alf: Chantelle?
Chantelle: I won concert tickets on the radio.
Alf: Oh congrats.
Chantelle: I can’t wait to tell Blake and Karen. *runs to her room*
*Alf looks confused*
(At Roseanne’s, Kierain is feeling feverish.)
Kierain: Rosie? I think I’m going to be sick.
*Roseanne holds the bucket so Kierain can vomit*
Kierain: Oh no.
*Roseanne picks him up*
Roseanne: I think you’ve got gastro. I’m taking you to the hospital.
*Roseanne puts Kierain in her car and drives to the hospital*
