Episode Preview: 4701

Seven, 7pm

Despite all the Olympic action, the past few weeks must have seemed an eternity for Summer Bay's armchair residents. Elliot (the always excellent Paul Patano - drama producers, give this guy more work) has been up to no good and made Roman drink a nasty concoction in order to save Nicole. And it's from here the soapie takes a turn towards high-octane action.

Roman wakes up dangling upside down over a cliff, legs bound. From there he is challenged to escape. He does, slowly dragging himself up, only to be hunted through the forest by an off-the-planet Elliot armed with a bow.

Home And Away has it's ups and downs, but this episode is really a peak for the soapie. Pace and direction are superb, and it's a fair bet that more than a few older brothers will find themselves sucked into the battle as they wander through the family room.

They could pass it off as some sort of Olympic event and claim that Roman is our best medal hope. I don't think anyone would know the difference... Just claim that Elliot is British or American and they'd be all set.

That return sound amazing. Im bored of the olympics now (no swimming = me no interested) so im starting to miss H&A again. Bring it back, bring back the drama Only 5 days to go *breathes*
