THE wheel of fortune may be on high rotation when it comes to Lara Bingle's love life, but it has landed on bankrupt when it comes to the model's television career.

Despite reports Bingle was calling W for winner in the race to co-host Channel 9's revamped Wheel of Fortune, Confidential can reveal former Seven starlet Holly Brisley is tipped for the role after running rings around the Cronulla stunner in auditions.

Despite her made-for-TV looks and sunny persona, Bingle failed to impress producers of the newly named Million Dollar Wheel, with a Nine spokeswoman yesterday revealing the model would not be given a second spin to win the role.

"We are doing callbacks over the next few weeks and Lara will not be one of the girls coming back for a second audition," the spokeswoman said.

To ensure the fit is right for the coveted co-hosting gig, Nine has been hosting a cattle-call for the country's top glamour girls over the past week, with more than 700 starlets applying for the role.

Among those lining up to be the next Adriana Xenides are It Takes Two performer Chloe Maxwell, radio gal Lizzy Lovette, model Ali Mutch and one-time lipgloss queen Gemma Gawned.

However the blonde bombshell said to spinning top dollar in the audition process is former Home and Away actress Holly Brisley, specifically due to her on-screen chemistry with Million Dollar Wheel host Tim Campbell.

The pair formerly worked together on the Seven soap, with the lovely Brisley likely to leave her Channel 7 roots behind and permanently defect to the Nine Network.

Damn, I was hoping this had been confirmed. *Puts "Dan&Amanda!" flag away for a while longer* :(

They'd be nuts not to go with Holly. Unless of course Rachel Gordon was in the running . Sure, she mightn't have the same chemistry with Tim, but she'd learn... Maybe she can host and Holly can turn the letters, and Tim can be the voice over guy who we see in his little sound booth when he's announcing the prizes. Yes, I like my plan. This is what we're going with. Alert the media.

Please no, not her. I actually want to watch this!

Come on. I hated Amanda and Holly's acting as much as you did, but what would she actually have to do for this besides stand around smiling in nice dresses and looking pretty? Holly seems nice enough and this is something she can actually do! :P

True & yes she does seem nice enough but I still have no interest in watching her on this. I've never been a fan, even before she joined HAA.

Seriously... Was this story a contest to see how many lame Wheel of Fortune jokes they could fit in to the article?
