Laura's Death

Having seen the episode which Laura gets hit by the train, in the following episode in which Travis appears for the first time, do we actually see Laura's body?

I'm not 100% but I dont think so, I think they said her body was in pieces.

Yeah, I was thinking that, what with the velocity the train was going (and it's mass) that she would have been a mess and difficult to recreate accurately without resorting to dummies.

Though I very much doubt the body was shown at all, I know ITV censored the scene a bit - though I do think that in a later flashback they let it go through as normal.

And you are left with the impression that had Curtis not shouted at Laura to tell her that there was a train coming she might have actually made it across.

Well, I guess in the end, if it was Laura's looks he was after he didn't really lose out in the end!!

You never saw her death, i have the video and you just see curtis blaming himself and he turns to drink. Claudia Buttazzoni who played Laura was a great actress she later went on to play Laura Bonnetti/Jenna Evans/Lisa Graham. I think you saw a body bag of some sort. And it was night-time if I remember correctly.

I could be getting my deaths mashed together, I was only 5 when I watched that episode, so I could be a tad confused.
