Ok, my face is literally inches away from the computer screen (no wonder I can see fuzzy yellow balls whizzing around!) Wow! That was a great chapter! I'll be honest, I was slightly disappointed when you mentioned there was no Martha at the start of the chapter...but, the chapter did not disappoint at all! I loved the Lucas/Jack interaction and in particular the references with the shaving! A classic brothering moment/scenario. I know Jack is on a high at the moment (being back home) but I sense there is going to be a crash, banging reality check in relation to Martha...please be gentle with him; don't let him suffer too much! Excellent writing as usual Nicole, please don't keep us hanging for too long EDIT: I've just realised the ridiculous length of this post. I believe you may have some competition in the rambling department
