I was not really watching when the stoyline came up but Irene was sexually abused by her uncle right? So Mick is inbred? Was it her choice to put him up for adoption or were her hands tied on the matter? How old was she? Is that the reason for her alcoholism? Surely that and the reasons behind it got explored before that.

Ash is doing well co-running a business, juggling two womens affections while basically being a single dad living alone in a flat that was made pretty clear takes 3 people's pay cheque to rent out and still have enough time to always be eating out and going surfing

When Hunter came clean and apologized to Marilyn, I think she said something like "I know how hard it must have been for you to come forward after all this time". Or something like that. I was honestly waiting for her to find out he only came clean cause the cops on his doorstep and it was all about to come out anyway and not being so nice about it

We saw her soft side when she broke down when Alf had his brain tumour. He asked "Do you love me?" and she started crying and said she did very much, but then she realised he was talking to Ailsa. I think her next lot of visits after that she had mellowed?

Wow, didn't think VJ would be so many pages back. I'm a little disappointed with the way they've gone with VJ, it just feels like they've back-pedalled with making him go back to school and giving up Luc. Once Billie died the show should have had him doing TAFE or a night course. I think he would have made a great single dad character, with Ash and Irene for support. Kinda like what they did with Declan in Neighbours back in the day. He could have had cute moments with Justin when he has Ava visits. They even took away his marriage to Billie which seemed unnecessary and like they'd undone a full year of character growth.

I would like for Morag to maybe get amnesia and the last thing she remembers is the sea plane crash when Bobby found out who she was. And when Morag wakes up she is being nasty and Alf has to tell her that Bobby died without them ever making peace. But that a little out there another idea is that she has a stoke or something (like Harold from Neighbours), just something to give us back nasty Morag for a few months.

I'm not saying 19 year olds don't live at home (was 22 when I left home for good) saying she an adult and doesn't have stay if she doesn't want to like like Coco who is under age and has no choice. At 19 throwing a hissy fit and running away from home feels immature. You not running away at that age you"re moving out.

Yes but it's not like she's a child, she can leave if she hates it so much, and so far all her attempts at leaving have been classed as "running away from home". In my books, when you're that age you can't run away, it's classed as "moving out". I just think her attitude and actions would have made more sense if she was 3 years younger.

My big issue with Ziggy is how immature she is for 19. Her actions don't match her age like she is an adult hating the Bay and whinging about having stay with her family against her will.....she's old enough to not have do what her family says.

I watched the re runs this morning and it was when Irene wants to apply to be a foster mother so she can foster the baby that was found on the beach. Selina said that Irene had already tried to apply to be foster mum with her but got rejected. I thought Irene was already a foster mother at this point so what are Selina and Chloe, boarders? And this might sound like a dumb question but what's the difference between them living with Irene like they are now and her being their official foster mother?
