What do you think been the darkest storyline over the years? Sarah Lewis storyline up there for me especially the hostage climax. I was only a kid at the time but remember Gypsy being held hostage and that really creeping me out when I was younger. If anyone could give me a run down on what that was all about be appreciated. What do you think been some of the shows darkest?

I would have loved Bobby to be around when Duncan was going off the rails after Alisa's death have her taking on Morag when she was trying to get her hands on him

I haven't gotten that far yet but not surprised. It would have been better if their relationship turned into a domestic violence relationship. It doesn't even have to be a physical one but just a controlling one. Show how slowly it can all start but might been bit too advance for the 90s

Been watching 89/90 and just noticed some things that didn't age very well over last 30 plus years. The storyline where Martin girlfriend just came and got taken by her ex bikey boyfriend and was last ever heard of her. And in general lot of the guys outlook on girls and expectations of them waiting on them and doing all the housework. And I'm really amazed at how often the word bitch gets used in the early years didn't think a family show in that era would get away with it. Going ahead a little in time but how they glorified Kane and Kirsty love as star cross lovers against the wolrd. No way they'd get away with that today What some other storylines or aspects that you can think of

So I'm just now watching 1990 for first time and oh my god Carly and Ben! Just watched the episode they got engaged didn't realise it all happen so fast it been 7 episodes! Everyone just like it a bit sudden umm do you think! She went from being with Adam to trying get with Grant to engaged all really really really fast he talking about loving her and marriage before they kissed. Did any of this not seem weird when it first aired (I was born 1990 so litreally before my time)

So I'm watching early 1990 where Donald been arrested for Matt brother death and Viv doesn't want stay with him anymore. She asked Tom to let her stay he says he can't because Viv and Steven are together and it against the rules to let foster kids who are together to be in the same house. Wondering when this rule gos out the window who was the first foster kids to get together? I know Bobby and Frank but assuming they don't count because they were adults? P.S how frequently the word bitch gets used is rather jarring especially for a family show in the 90s

I just remember watching it thinking god her arc is dragging on don't know how long she was actually around for but felt forever and exhausting. So in short not a fan. Can't remember the ins and outs but I think was kinda repetitive and she felt like a days of our life villain

I could of almost gotten behind the Heather stuff. It was a total rewrite of history 100% but some reason didn't irk me as much as Irene son or Martha being alive. Could brought her in like they did angry and waning payback on Marilyn because she had horrible childhood. But if she was new regular and eventually built relationship with Maz I think shd could of been half good. She could of stayed with Irene so start with who house be completely empty for first time I can ever remember. But hostage stuff and killing her adoptive mum was too far to come back from. It they had rewrite the past they should really have done it for longer term gain

The truble making long lost daughter of Marilyn. It a toa recon of Maz past and Heather hasn't exactly been likeable so far but I'm finding it all very interesting and one of the few storyline I'm invested in

What everyone thought of the new doctor so far?

Pretty sure he started as a carpenter and they owned the "pier" which at time seemed really odd that the apartment upstairs was owned separately from the dinner. Was that all they owned? Speaking of how long was dinner around for before they decided introduce that apartment upstairs for Charlotte and Hunter?
