Both Jack and Ruby instantly understood what he meant, and the anger and pain displayed on their faces showed how they were feeling. “That’s it,” Ruby said angrily. “He is dead.”  “Colleen, do you realize that you’ve given a psycho, abusive rapist our address?” Ruby hissed, and both Colleen and Martha looked surprised.  “Look,’ Ruby began, and Mr and Mrs Bledcoe stared at her. “I know that even though I’m your granddaughter, that you’ve never had anything to do with me, and that’s fine. And I know that you don’t believe that Grant raped Charlie. But you can’t deny that he has this time. He’s broken the law and he’s going to go to jail. But if he’s done something to my mum, then I don’t have anyone else. My mum is all I have. So, I’m begging you – if you have any idea where Grant is, then please tell me. I can’t lose her,” Ruby finished, and she could feel the tears rolling down her cheeks as she spoke.

Red Ranger 1, I realised that Joey’s going to need some help with her plans, because of the problems Marilyn had in real H&A when she “borrowed” George ….. and Aden was the perfect choice. You’ll see what I mean in the next chapter in a few days.

AND the opposing responses to the proposals ……  “You just ask me to marry you, just like that, out of the blue?Have you even thought about what it means? Or is this just some brainless way of cheering me up?’Cos if you haven’t noticed…didn’t work.”She got up and stormed into the bedroom. Romeo was left sitting there, nonplussed.“Thanks for the advice, Ric,”he said at last.  “No, I’m asking you to marry me because we’ve been together six years, because you’re the best friend I’ve ever had and because I can’t really imagine living without you.It’s taken me six months to save up for this thing and I’d be proposing to you even if you weren’t pregnant.But…I guess that is another reason for us getting married, yes.”He paused, waiting for an answer.“I’m so glad I didn’t go down on one knee, I’d have got cramp by now.” Matilda looked from Ric to the ring, from the ring to Ric.She thought about wearing that ring, about being his wife.“Yes,”she said quietly. Red Ranger 1, it’s funny that I thought of the snow over a month ago ....... given recent Oz storylines. Re Dex/April, I guess in my mind they started dating in “Ruin” about the same time as they did in real H&A, but I never did actually add scenes/remarks to indicate that …… lost in amongst all else going on in that fic. Next chapter should be up in a few days !!!

REALLY COOOOOOOOL update, especially ….  Ruby felt Romeo squeeze her hand tighter and was glad of his presence.“Yeah, that’s right,”she confirmed. “Well, I suppose it had to happen one day.” Ruby felt stung.“What’s that supposed to mean?”  “It’s just so unfair though,”Matilda complained,“You worked hard to get your apprenticeship, you should be able to use it.”  “He’s a proud person, Dad, he wants to support his family, not sponge off you and Miles.And it can’t be much fun for Matilda either, feeling like she’s dumped all this on us.”  “Well, yeah, we’re together now but that’s not gonna last.I mean, you and Dexter are made for each other, everyone says so.You’ve got that weird quirky-sense-of-humour-that-no-one-else-gets thing going on. Whereas Indi’s smart and at college and I’m…here.”  Ric and Mattie exchanged a frustrated glance.“Do we have to walk much further, Mr.Stewart?”Mattie asked,“’Cos I think my ankles are swelling up.”  Ric looked back at Alf and smiled.“The boss has spoken.” Alf grinned.“Now you’re learning how this works.”

GRIPPING chapter !!!!! …….LOTS happening there, especially ….  “Get the hell away from me!” Ruby yelled. She kicked his foot, making him withdraw his foot from the pain. A moment was all Ruby needed, and she quickly slammed the door shut and locked it. Ruby ran around to all the windows and locked those too, drawing the blinds as she did so. When she was sure that she had got them all, she stepped back shaking.  Jack interrupted her, “Go home. I’ll cover your shift for you, and I’ll go word Grant for you as well” he offered.  “Wow. Brax really likes you, you know,” Ruby hinted; not knowing that he and Charlie were back together.  “That’s not very professional is it? A cop telling an innocent citizen to get out of town. I wonder how that would go down with your superiors,”  “Right,” Brax said to Angelo before turning back to a slightly worried looking Grant. “So maybe not two people could make you. But I’m pretty sure that about twenty angry men could,” Brax hinted. Grant swallowed audibly.  Holding her firmly in place, Grant pressed the tip of the syringe into her leg and pressed down, until it all had been injected. He then carelessly threw aside the empty syringe, covered Charlie’s mouth again to stop her screaming and held her down. She continued to thrash against his grip, but as time went on, her struggles became weaker and weaker, until her eyes closed and she became still.

REALLY enjoyable, especially …..  “Plus, you’re not looking at the bigger picture.Three months’ time, when they’re too big to go out, we can remind them of this and have a lads’ night out!”George gave an indignant burble, apparently having decided he’d been ignored long enough.“Keep quiet about it and you can come too,”Ric told him  Dexter placed the plate in front of her.“Meat pie and chips.I was planning to make something cool but… then I remembered I don’t know how.”  “I’ve told Ric I want two nights a week to myself,”Matilda agreed. “Romeo left alone in charge of a baby,”Ruby mused,“That’s kind of a frightening thought when you think about it.”  Ric put an arm round his shoulder.“Trust me, she’s thought about it.She’s probably decided what wedding dress she’d wear, what songs she wants for the reception, that’s what girls do.”  “And if there were any small imperfections, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.”  “Nope, just high on life!”She kissed him again.“How about taking me home and reminding me how I got pregnant?”

This is just too funny !!!!!!! …… especially …..  stupendously clueless Charlie !!!!!!  Brax, “Heath dude actually this is a good workout think of the calories I have lost while you have been chasing me  The entire ““Why would I even think about eating my phone?” chat  Indi, “Oh thanks shall I just wear a bin liner then?”  Heath, “Babe it’s funny really I eat my phone for a dare and now it smells because I puked it up”  Sid, “You eat a casserole which was posted?”

LOVE this fic, especially ……  But it seemed that now Charlie had shared her secret, that she was able to sleep peacefully.  Brax just stared at Angelo. “No, she was telling me about Grant,” Brax said angrily. Angelo’s jaw dropped slightly as he heard this; it had taken Charlie ages to tell him about Grant and they were engaged, and yet here Charlie was telling a guy that she hadn’t known for very long already. “Yeah, and she also told me what you did when you found out the truth”  “I tried to make myself believe that I could deal with not being with you, but I can’t.”  Grant snorted to himself; if she thought being a police officer meant that she was safe from him, then she had another thing coming.  Before Grant could react, the man’s fist flew through the air and punched him square in the face, causing Grant to land on his back on the ground.  “Just trust me” Brax told her. He knew that Jack wouldn’t help him. But he knew that Angelo was desperate to make it up to Charlie. This was why he knew that Angelo would help Brax deal with Grant.  She knew how stressed Charlie was about Grant’s parents being in town, and Ruby wanted to do something nice for her.

GREAT chat tween Charlie & Brax!!! It’s not so good that he’s got SOOOOO much on his plate atm …. epecially knowing the he still has to tell ppl about Annie !!!!

LOVED ……  how fierce Charlie was when she encountered that evil man’s parents  how nonchalant Rubes was when she called Charlie MUM  how AWESOME Brax was when Charlie told him and I’m REALLY looking forward to Brax teaching Grant a lesson he won’t forget !!!!!!

Romeo nodded.“But I guess they’re relying on us now so…” “Time to man up.”  Romeo took a deep breath.“Well, he used to go out with Ruby but she dumped him for someone else, then him and me were best friends but when he found out about me and Ruby cheating on Indi and Casey, one of his other friends, we fell out, and then he got together with Indi.” Ric raised an eyebrow.“Summer Bay hasn’t changed a bit, has it?”  “I’m eighteen.I fantasise about sleeping with girls all the time.”He saw April raise an eyebrow slightly. “With you!”he corrected hastily,“Since we’ve been going out, I have been having fantasies about sleeping with you, 24/7.”He paused.“Did that sound more or less creepy?”  “Hey, morning sickness is a perfectly natural part of having babies,”Nicole assured her,“Even at three o’clock in the afternoon.”  “Us three.We’re going out, Friday night.Girls’ night.Before we end up taking up knitting and complaining about varicose veins.”
