Extended Summary

Cash and Eden are getting cosy at home when Remi turns up and suggests he and Cash go for a run, unless marriage has made him soft. He gives him two minutes to get ready. Eden asks what’s going on with Eddie. Remi says they’re arranging contracts and then they’ll go from there. Eden says to let her know if she can help. Remi says he’s got it. Cash returns and he and Remi set off. Eden looks a bit disappointed. At the Diner, Marilyn asks Alf if he’s heard anything about Leah. Alf says just the text from Justin saying she got home okay. Marilyn notes they’re a strong couple who’ll get through it and Alf agrees. Marilyn gets back to work, promising she’ll take regular breaks.

Justin finds Leah by the beach. Leah says she doesn’t have the energy. Justin asks if that’s because she stayed up all night with Sonny. Leah says Sonny doesn’t judge her like Justin, Alf and Marilyn do, and accuses him of telling David he’ll manage her and repeating everything she says to him. Justin says he’s just told David they can’t be friends. Leah is unimpressed and walks away again.

Eden is opening a parcel when Cash and Remi arrive back. Eden tries to get Remi to stay and chat but he says he has a meeting with Sonny. Eden suggests he have it at Salt rather than the studio, offering to arrange food for them, and he agrees. Cash wonders what that was about and Eden says talking music will be fun. She shows him what’s in the parcel: Their wedding album. She tells him to shower before they look at it.

Justin finds Leah sat on a bench and says this isn’t the way he planned it. Leah says she didn’t either. Justin asks if it’s unreasonable for a husband to worry when his wife disappears. Leah says she was safe and Justin points out he didn’t know that. Leah repeats that she doesn’t have time for this and walks away.

When Cash returns, he and Eden flick through the album, seeing photos of them together and ones of her going down the aisle with Levi and Abigail. They begin coyly debating which one they’d frame and put on the wall if they were going to do that, before stopping at one of Justin, Leah and Theo. Cash wonders if they should give that one to Justin and Leah. Eden agrees.

At the Diner flat, Dana checks Sonny is fine with her coming to the meeting. Sonny says he doesn’t want to leave her side. Justin turns up and asks to talk to Sonny alone. Sonny says it’s not the best time but Dana agrees to wait outside. Justin asks about Leah being with him last night. Sonny says they’re not a thing. Justin says he never thought that. Sonny is surprised to learn Justin didn’t know she was there. Justin asks Sonny to call him if she turns up again so he can take over. Sonny refuses, saying he won’t betray Leah’s trust. Shortly after, Sonny fills Dana in on the conversation and tells her what he said.

Alf finds Justin near the beach and asks about Leah. Justin says she spent all night with Sonny. Alf looks shocked and Justin assures him nothing’s happening and she was just downloading. He notes he thought they told each other everything. Alf advises him not to read too much into it and Justin accepts that Sonny has Leah’s best interests at heart.

Leah is sat at home on her own when Cash turns up. She initially thinks it’s about her arrest but Cash is confused, since he hasn’t been into work and didn’t know anything about it. Cash asks if Justin’s home, then sits her down and gives her an envelope containing the photo. Leah realises it was the last photo of Theo taken.

Remi is met by Eden at the surf club. She says everything’s set up upstairs. Remi is surprised she isn’t working and says she doesn’t have to stay. Eden says she’s happy to and Cash has something else to do. Sonny and Dana arrive and Sonny thanks Eden. Dana says she can keep her company while they talk business.

Upstairs, Remi tells Sonny he needs him to work out a schedule of when and how they launch Eddie. Sonny asks how long it takes to record a song. Eden interjects that they’ll need to ask Eddie because all musos are different. Remi asks Sonny to look at some samples and pick out a lead song. Eden has arranged some pizzas and offers to help but Remi politely declines, leaving her to retreat awkwardly.

Justin arrives home where Leah immediately gives him a hug and shows him the photo. Justin says he’s not going to complain if she needs to talk to Sonny.Leah says she’s not going to apologise for needing space but she should have let him know where she was. She says she’ll call or text him next time she’s with Theo. She doesn’t seem to realise what she said and Justin doesn’t say anything.

Remi is calling not having a studio a problem and Sonny is calling it a challenge. Dana stops by the bar to thank Eden and heads off to work, saying goodbye to Sonny. Eden goes over and suggests hiring another studio but Sonny is convinced it will be up in time. Remi calls time on the meeting, saying they’ll meet again for breakfast. Cash arrives to exchange a few words with them and notices Eden’s mood.

Cash and Eden arrive home. Eden is disappointed that Remi isn’t including her in the studio and label after she helped get Eddie on board. Cash is confused that she expected to be but Eden thinks that Remi only sees her as his wife, as if she’s not a musician anymore. Cash asks if she’s actually told Remi she wants to be involved. Eden refuses to beg. Cash goes to see Remi at Salt, noting this could make his marriage one of the shortest on record but he wants to know if there’s a reason Eden isn’t part of the label.

Sonny arrives back to find Dana preparing to go out to work and jokes that he thought the nurse’s uniform was for role play. Dana gets some texts which she says are the nurses’ group chat. Sonny sits down to listen to Eddie’s music but quickly gets a text from Justin asking to talk. Sonny meets him near the beach where Justin suggests that Leah is leaning on Sonny too much. He tells him that Leah keeps referring to him as Theo and asks if that sounds normal.
