Extended Summary

Christian and Rachel are walking along the beach. Rachel notes it’s good to be out of the hospital but comments that Christian seems stressed. Christian says it’s nothing for her to worry about and lays out a rug for them both to sit on. He says the fresh air is doing her good. Rachel says the company is too and takes his hand. Christian looks slightly uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Leah, Justin and Tori are walking towards the surf club. Justin suggests they leave him, saying Leah needs to check in at the Diner and he just needs a quick chat with Ziggy. He ends up telling them to get off his back and walking on alone. Tori tells Leah that Justin’s going to be having withdrawals as they ween him off the painkillers. She suggests Leah go to the Diner while she keep an eye on Justin. She then gets a call from Jasmine and is annoyed at the news.

Justin meets with Ziggy in Salt. Ziggy asks if there’s anything new at the garage. Justin says there’s a delivery coming in and not to touch it, just focus on the cars. Ziggy asks if she should do anything with the accounts and Justin rather sharply reiterates to just fix the cars. Ziggy asks if he’s doing all right and he says never better. Outside, Tori is watching Christian and Rachel on the beach. Justin joins her and comments on her being a poor keeper. Tori points out the pair, explaining Rachel has a day pass. Justin asks if Tori wants to talk to Christian and threatens to have a word himself. Tori decides to accompany Justin to the gym instead.

Leah runs into Stephen in the Diner car park. He explains that he’s there to check on John, who didn’t seem very happy when they went to the police together. He suggests Leah join them but Leah says that she has things to do, including checking on the Diner. Stephen suggests they at least have a coffee together. Meanwhile, at the garage, Ziggy is on the phone to Tane, saying Justin’s left the garage in a mess so she’ll have to miss lunch. Despite Justin’s instructions, she checks over the order and finds one of the boxes contains more bottles of pills.

Christian and Rachel walk up from the beach, commenting that it’s a miracle that they’re both alive. Christian wants to take Rachel back to the hospital but Rachel convinces him to take her for lunch, which will be a break from vending machines. In the surf club, Justin is trying to get Tori to leave him, saying she’s not dressed for the gym, but Tori is fine just watching him and asks him not to make the day worse. At that moment, Christian and Rachel come in. Christian suggests they all go to Salt together but no-one else is keen on the idea and Rachel suggests they go back to the hospital. Christian asks Tori to meet him once he’s taken Rachel back.

Christian takes Rachel back to the hospital and apologises that she missed out on lunch. Rachel wonders about things being awkward with Tori. She complains of a headache and Christian says he’ll sort her out some pain relief. At the gym, Tori is watching Justin work out. Justin wonders how long it should take Christian to get to the hospital and back. Tori decides to go and wait for him while Justin tries to get hold of Ziggy.

Tori is waiting in Salt and nearly leaves before Christian turns up. He explains about sorting out Rachel’s pain relief and convinces Tori to stay and talk. Meanwhile, Ziggy has summoned Leah to the garage and shows her the pills, which they hide in the back of Ziggy’s car. Justin turns up and begins to realise what the situation is. He demands to see inside Ziggy’s car but she refuses and Justin ends up driving off in anger. Leah follows him to the Diner car park and tries to convince him he was being dangerous. Stephen comes over and tells Justin to leave, which he reluctantly does.

Christian asks Tori how things are at home and how Grace is. Tori wonders if the time apart has helped. She knows about the amount of time he’s spent with Rachel, having asked Jasmine to keep an eye on them. Christian is still reluctant to set a new date for the wedding. Tori gets a call from Leah and says she has to go. She heads downstairs and calls Justin, who is down by the beach. Justin says he messed up but refuses to tell Tori where he is, hanging up. Christian asks if there’s anything he can do. Tori just asks him to set a date and, when he won’t, gives him the ring back and says the wedding’s off. Christian goes to the hospital and sits on Rachel’s bed, looking upset.

Leah and Stephen are near the Diner, searching for Justin. She just tells Stephen that Justin isn’t himself. Stephen gives her a hug, which is seen by Justin from a distance. Soon after, Tori and Ziggy turn up. Stephen leaves to meet up with John. Tori tells Ziggy to give her the pills to dispose of and suggests Leah take a break and go to Marilyn’s to spend time with Grace while the rest of them continue looking. Meanwhile, Justin follows Stephen down a path in a park and accuses him of being after Leah. Stephen denies it but Justin punches him and then hits him again when he’s down.
