Extended Summary

Jasmine exits the surf club with Alex close behind. Jasmine feels she shouldn’t have said what she did. Alex doesn’t mind and Jasmine notes Alex is already doing her a favour by making Willow happy. Alex says Jasmine will still talk to Willow and she can visit them anytime. Jasmine decides to head home, just as Willow arrives and asks Alex what’s wrong. Shortly after, back at the gym, Alex has told Willow about the post-it note and Willow realises she actually does need to replace the water filter like the note said. She reflects on how reminders of Robbo are hurting Jasmine and notes it would be easier for her if Willow was staying on as manager. Alex comments on how close they are. Willow wonders if it would help to pack up Robbo’s things from the office and Alex offers to help.

Marilyn has gone to see Tori at the Morgan house, where Justin and Grace are also present. She checks on the status of the hospital creche. Tori says Justin is taking time off work to help out with Grace and Marilyn offers to help out as well. Tori asks what John thinks of that. Marilyn initially says it’s not his decision but then says they’ve spoken and he’s fine with it, also saying that Gemma and Nikau living there is going fine. Tori says she’ll get back to her. After Marilyn’s gone, Justin points out they can trust Marilyn after she looked after Raffy, although Tori is concerned about it affecting Marilyn’s job. She admits she hasn’t seen Jasmine since Robbo’s funeral but notes she said it was too painful to be around Grace. Meanwhile, back at the beach house, Jasmine tells Irene she wishes she knew what Robbo would want her to do with the gym. Irene says he’d want Jasmine to do what she wants. Jasmine wonders if he wanted her to keep it; Irene says he wouldn’t want her to give up nursing and suggests she take Willow up on her offer to help find a manager. She then gives Jasmine Robbo’s will and points out she needs to see Tori.

Tori is playing with Grace on the floor while Justin stares at his laptop. Tori asks if he needs to get back to work. Justin says Ziggy’s looking after things and admits he’s afraid of missing something. Tori suggests he goes for a surf. Jasmine arrives and her face lights up at the sight of Grace, noting she looks big. Tori offers to have Justin take her out if it’s too painful but Jasmine says she’s missed her and Tori says they’ve missed her too. Justin goes to the surf club and asks Ben for some board wax; Ben heard from Ziggy that he wasn’t at the garage. Justin rips down a room for rent notice that has been put over Leah’s missing poster and admits he’s only going surfing to keep Tori happy.

Marilyn approaches Maggie at the Diner and talks to her about the Morgans worrying about Leah. Maggie says that she and Roo have set up alerts on their phones for if there’s an update to Leah’s website. Back at the Morgan house, Jasmine and Tori chat about Willow leaving with Alex and Tori going back to work, with Jasmine having Grace sat on her lap. Tori wonders how Robbo would feel about her putting Grace in child care. Jasmine says there’s a lot of questions about what Robbo would want that they’ll never have answers to but he and Tori trusted each other to parent Grace. She also tells her about the will: In addition to leaving Jasmine the gym, Robbo made Tori executor of a trust fund for Grace, which should pay for child care and education.

Jasmine goes to the gym and looks about, having flashbacks to Robbo telling her he’d bought the gym and them kissing, him teasing her about a workout, him finding her there with Mason and Willow after she’d run away, and him telling her he was afraid of losing her. She smiles as she does so. Back at the beach house, Willow puts Robbo’s things in a box and tapes it up. She asks Irene where she can store it and Irene points out her wardrobe will be empty soon. Willow isn’t looking forward to packing and, when Irene questions her, admits she hasn’t thought much about what she’s going to do for work and where she and Alex are going to live.

Alex is at the Diner when she gets a phone call from Willow, suggesting they have dinner later and also asking much the same questions Irene just asked about where they’re going to live and whether she needs to find a job. Alex seems rather flummoxed but says they’ll talk about it over dinner. Marilyn brings her a coffee and asks if she’s all right; Alex admits she’s not sure. Later, Tori comes in with Grace and notices Alex looking worried. Alex explains she’s trying to find a place in Brisbane but isn’t sure what Willow wants. Tori agrees about having to adjust to thinking about someone else. Alex leaves and Marilyn comes over as Justin also arrives. Tori tells Marilyn that they’ll have to have a casual arrangement for her looking after Grace but also that she’ll be paying her; Marilyn isn’t keen but Tori says the money will come from Robbo’s trust fund. She says they’ll sort out the hours when they both know their shifts. Justin asks about Jasmine’s visit and Tori says they both got something out of it.

At the beach house, Jasmine shows Irene new photos of Grace on her phone. Willow emerges from her room and Jasmine asks about the box. Willow explains it’s Robbo’s things from the gym. Jasmine says it might have been jumping the gun clearing out because she’s decided to keep the gym on and asks Willow about helping to find a new manager and teach her how to run the place. Willow is willing but gets a text from Alex saying she’s at Salt. Soon after, Willow and Alex are on the Salt balcony. Both are calmer, but when Willow again brings up the question of practicalities, Alex says to leave that to her and focus on Jasmine and spending time with Dean, Colby and Bella, adding that she’ll do anything it takes to make her happy.

Maggie arrives at the surf club to collect Ben. She gets a text alert and finds that someone has posted a message on Leah’s website saying there’s going to be an announcement soon. Meanwhile, Alex and Willow are sat in Willow’s bedroom. Alex comments on the lack of packing and, noticing a photo of Willow with Colby, Dean and Bella, asks when it was taken. Willow says it was at Colby’s wedding, going on to add that the marriage only lasted a week but it was a nice ceremony and they got a good photo out of it. Alex notes that they’re like the three musketeers. She wonders if maybe she could find a permanent job close by to save them moving around: Tori has the job she’d want locally but she could find something within a couple of hours’ drive. Willow is keen but seems less certain when Alex talks about them buying a place together, especially when she starts talking mortgages.

Tori, Justin and Maggie are all at the Morgan house grouped around the laptop; Maggie says that Roo is on her way. Justin complains about someone saying they’re going to announce something instead of just announcing it. The webpage updates and they see a photo of Leah showing off an engagement ring, with a mostly out of shot man next to her, and a message saying she’s engaged. All of them are shocked.
