Extended Summary

Jasmine is going for a run on the beach, while back at the flat Robbo is giving Grace a bottle: There are blankets on the couch, as if someone has slept there. Back at the Morgan house, Justin, Leah, Ava and Mason are having breakfast together. Justin is on the phone to the hospital and is frustrated that there’s no change, although Mason and Ava suggest Tori being stable is good. Ava asks if she can go and see Grace, and Mason wants to go too, but Justin says not today and, when Leah also appeals to him, tells them to drop it before going to have a shower. Mason sends Ava to feed Buddy, then asks Leah what he doesn’t know. Leah explains about Justin blaming Robbo for Tori’s condition. She asks if it would have made a difference if Tori had been in hospital. Mason says no-one could have predicted it.

Jasmine stops by the Diner and shows Irene and Marilyn photos of Grace. After Marilyn has gone to get her takeaway, Jasmine admits Robbo slept on the couch and says he’s not letting anyone near Grace and they argued when she tried to talk to him about it. Irene advises her to try again. Marilyn returns and gives her a present for Grace. Jasmine heads up to the flat and Robbo appears from the bedroom. They exchange apologies. Robbo says he’s not giving Grace to Justin. Jasmine accepts that but thinks he could do with a rest. Robbo opens the present which is a crystal to hang up. Grace starts crying and, despite Jasmine offering to look after her, Robbo insists on going to give her the bottle himself.

Justin finds Leah waiting in the bedroom. He isn’t happy that she encouraged Ava to go and see Grace. Leah thinks he’s looking for someone to blame and Robbo’s a good dad. Justin thinks they don’t know what sort of dad he is. Leah says Tori trusted him but Justin points out he was against Robbo being involved from the start. Ava briefly sticks her head in and Mason offers to take her to see Grace but Justin refuses. Mason and Ava can hear Leah and Justin arguing from the living area and decide to go out. Back at the flat, Robbo has settled Grace and hung the crystal near the window so it catches the light. Jasmine suggests they finish their talk. Robbo asks to rest first.

Mason and Ava arrive at the Diner. Ava is worried about Justin and Leah arguing and Mason tries to dismiss it as talking with the volume turned up. Ava suggests they could go up to see Grace. Mason is reluctant, saying he doesn’t want to rock the boat, but assures her he won’t wait forever. Upstairs, Jasmine is folding clothes. She goes into the bedroom to check on things and finds Robbo asleep, with his hand on Grace in her cradle.

Mason tells Irene that the doctors haven’t ruled out Tori making a complete recovery but it’s up to her. Marilyn gives Ava a milkshake to celebrate Grace’s arrival. Ava says she hasn’t been allowed to see her yet. She notes she wanted a sister and never got one, and now having a cousin isn’t working out either. Mason decides to take her upstairs. Meanwhile, Leah encourages Justin to talk to Robbo. Justin refuses to apologise or back down but does agree to make the first move by calling him. However, Robbo is asleep and doesn’t notice the phone vibrating. Justin thinks he’s ignoring him.

Jasmine lets Mason and Ava into the flat; Mason is somewhat cautious and polite but Jasmine reminds him they’re friends. Robbo emerges and readily lets them in to see Grace while she’s asleep. He asks Ava if she could be a big sister figure for Grace. Ava is delighted. Back at the Morgan house, Justin is staring at his phone. He isn’t happy that Robbo didn’t call him back, saying he could have had important news about Tori. Leah thinks the hospital would call Robbo if that was the case. Justin worries there’s an emergency with Grace and, despite Leah trying to calm him down, storms out.

Jasmine and Robbo show Mason and Ava out of the flat. Ava is disappointed Grace was asleep and she didn’t get to cuddle her. Robbo says he’ll text her when Grace wakes up. After they’ve gone, he reflects to Jasmine that Sophia would have been Ava’s age and would have liked having a little sister. Back in the Diner, Ava gushes to Marilyn about Grace. Irene asks Mason how it went and Mason admits he doesn’t understand why Justin views Robbo as a threat.

Approaching the Diner, Leah tries to stop Justin having a repeat of the previous night and warns him he’s destroying the family. Up in the flat, Robbo tells Jasmine that Grace is still asleep and admits he kept waking her during the night to check on her. He notices two missed calls from Justin but before he can call back Justin walks in, wanting to know what’s wrong with Grace. Grace starts crying and Jasmine goes to check on her. Robbo refuses to let Justin see her, saying he’s the problem. Justin says he’ll go to court and Robbo closes the door on him. He goes and takes Grace off Jasmine, saying no-one will take her away from him.
