Robbo and Jasmine’s world grows even smaller. Irene makes a decision about her future. Colby has a proposition for Bella
Extended Summary
Colby goes for a surf and finds Bella waiting for him with his towel. They banter about her being his slave with her threatening to throw it back on the sand. Colby asks how she is but Bella tells him not to make a big deal of things. Colby suggests they have breakfast and spend the day hanging out. Near the beach, Irene and Leah are walking. Leah says the vlog got a fantastic response and everyone is impressed with her bravery. Irene is still worried about going to jail despite Leah telling her she has support. Bella approaches and Irene cheerily greets her. Irene invites Bella to join them for coffee at Salt but when Bella says Colby has asked her to spend the day with him Irene encourages it.
Robbo brings Jasmine a mug of drink in bed and she reflects that she was dreaming they were on their honeymoon in Tahiti. Robbo says he didn’t get anywhere yesterday and also explains about Colby wanting them to leave. He doesn’t know where they’ll go but he’ll ring Lance to arrange somewhere. They have their bags packed when Colby arrives home. Colby is apologetic but both of them understand Bella comes first, although Jasmine isn’t sure Bella will open up. Colby goes to have a shower before meeting her and Jasmine wonders if they actually have somewhere to go. Robbo says he’ll make another call.
Alf is unscrewing the Ben’s Boards sign as Colby and Bella arrive at the surf club. Colby wonders if Ben could set up again and Alf explains about the committee terminating his lease. Bella worries Dean is out of a job. Colby admits he hasn’t spoken to him in a while but glosses over the reasons, saying Dean’s spending time with Mackenzie. He challenges Bella to a game of pool. Meanwhile, Irene and Leah are drinking coffee on the Salt balcony and joke that it’s not as good as theirs. Irene thanks Leah for keeping an eye on the Diner and notes she isn’t ready to face the world. Leah notes she seemed relieved about not spending time with Bella earlier but assures her Bella didn’t notice. Irene doesn’t wnt to let Bella down.
Bella wins her third game of pool. Colby asks her about moving back in and she instantly agrees. She wonders about Robbo and Jasmine and he tells her they’re moving out. At that moment, Robbo is on the phone talking about needing 24 hour security. He tells Jasmine that Lance doesn’t have anything in place yet and they need a couple of days. Jasmine worries that Colby wants them out today.
Irene and Leah cautiously enter the Diner but get no reaction. Irene notes she thought people would be pointing and staring or having a go at her for what she did to Tommy. Colby and Bella are sat at a table and Bella goes over to Irene, explaining about Colby’s offer but saying she’ll only go if Irene’s okay with it. Irene is fine, saying Bella always wanted to be with her family. When Colby goes back to the flat, Robbo and Jasmine explain the situation. Colby says Bella’s already packing and wonders if he could take her up the coast for a couple of days. Jasmine says she needs to be settled and Robbo says he’ll sort something.
Leah approaches Irene and Alf outside the Diner. She thought Irene would be helping Bella but Irene says Colby’s picking her up and Bella is doing a good job packing by herself. Both Alf and Leah offer Irene support. Meanwhile, Colby is driving with Bella but pulls up in a car park and texts Robbo, asking if he needs him to stall. He suggests he and Bella get a juice, but when Robbo texts back saying it’s sorted, they carry on.
Colby and Bella arrive back at the flat and are greeted by Robbo and Jasmine. Jasmine says they need their own place and Bella goes to her room. Colby suggests they can move back in once everything’s over but Jasmine says that could be months. Robbo thanks Colby and Jasmine hugs him. After Robbo has checked outside, he tells Jasmine to get straight in the vehicle; their two guards get in a vehicle going ahead of them. Jasmine reflects on the urge to jump in the sea and hopes they can at least see it from their new place. Robbo says the important thing is being safe but Jasmine isn’t sure such a place exists.
Jasmine and Robbo arrive at a motel room. Jasmine is less than keen on it, especially its small size, despite Robbo saying it won’t be forever. She says it makes it seem more real: In Summer Bay, things were still familiar, but now it feels like a prison cell. Meanwhile, Bella is settling back into her room. Colby assures her he hasn’t touched anything and Bella jokingly scolds him for sitting on her bed without asking before saying she won’t stuff up this time. Colby says there’s no conditions to her living there and they hug.
Leah is surprised and a bit worried when Irene turns up at the Diner and starts work but doesn’t object. Alf asks her for a refill and comments on how the place has missed her old world charm. Meanwhile, Bella leaves her room and calls out to Colby, getting increasingly stressed when she realises he’s not there. Colby enters from outside, saying he was taking the rubbish out. Bella says she thought he’d bailed but quickly covers, refusing to discuss it further as Colby says he’ll let her know when he goes out in future.
Robbo is on the phone, saying he doesn’t have visibility from the window so they need someone outside in uniform. Jasmine chimes in that they also need someone to go shopping; they only have tea and biscuits and can’t order food in, also not having Colby any longer. Robbo admits he hadn’t thought of that but thinks security is more important. Jasmine says she’s thinking of the practicalities; Robbo ends up snapping at her and she retreats into the bathroom. Meanwhile, Bella suggests she and Colby watch a movie or binge-watch a series. Colby refuses to have a twelve hour marathon. He asks what she’s going to do after holidays; Bella tries to avoid the question but Colby says if she drops out of school then Tommy’s won. Bella shouts at him not to mention his name, then runs to her room.
An officer brings Robbo some groceries. Jasmine isn’t too happy though, noting they only have a microwave to cook with. Robbo angrily says she could have stayed with Tori and he might be making more progress if he didn’t have to babysit her. Jasmine retorts that he brought murderers into their life. She tries to take it back but Robbo snaps that he knows it’s his fault. He storms out and Jasmine slams the door after him.
