Extended Summary

Ziggy receives a goofy selfie from Coco which she shows Brody and Justin. As the pair discuss spending time together Brody tells Ziggy that he isn’t sure if he’ll get off early. Then, Simone arrives and Ziggy explains he’s going to try and delegate more. He uses it as an opportunity to show Simone the rosters. Spotting Dean, Ziggy sneaks up and scares him. When she returns home, she gives Justin her assurance that she is over her suspicions about Simone. However, at Salt, Brody embraces Simone. The pair head to the storeroom to have sex.

Afterwards, Justin almost catches the pair kissing. He corners Brody, who reveals that he and Simone are having an affair. Brody tries to justify his actions. While Ziggy is great, Simone is perfect. He sees something real with her. Justin tells Brody he has to sort himself out because the affair won’t end well.

Dean heads to the hospital and sits next to a sleeping Willow. Feeling himself nodding off, Dean begins doing push ups. The noise wakes up Willow, who tells him he has to go home. The next morning, Ziggy finds Dean at the beach, in the same clothes from the night before. He bites her head off when she asks if he’s okay.

Maggie has returned from dropping Coco off and explains how well she is doing to Ben. Ziggy arrives and the discussion quickly turns to Ben and Brody spending time with their respective wives. Brody has a large lunch booking, but reluctantly agrees to having lunch with Ziggy afterwards. He heads to Salt and explains to Simone that he revealed everything to Justin. The pair steal another kiss in the storeroom, before heading back to work.

After an awkward run-in with Maggie, Brody realises he forgot about lunch with Ziggy. Calling Ziggy, Brody apologises, but she tells him not to worry about their picnic. Justin comforts Ziggy, who is blaming herself for Brody not wanting to spend time with her. Later, Justin confronts Brody at the restaurant. Simone approaches and Justin blasts her, urging her to quit and leave to make sure he doesn’t ruin his life.

Back at his van, Dean is approached by Alf who states he found his van open and him nowhere to be found. He asks whether he’s okay, which he assures he is. He runs into Ben and Maggie, who note how tired he is and give him the day off. However, after hearing from Willow, Dean rushes to the hospital. Fearful, Willow asks whether Ross is back. Struggling under Willow’s questioning, Dean blurts out that Ross is dead. He opens up about his inability to sleep, and that he keeps going back to the fateful day whenever he closes his eyes.

Willow wants to know the details and Dean explains that Colby shot Ross, but he was there. She tries to convince him to talk to someone, but he can’t given the circumstances. He promises that he will figure something out though. He contemplates texting his mother but decides against it.
