Extended Summary

Dean and Willow are waiting outside the surf club, hoping Colby is going okay with Karen. Justin comes along and he and Willow chat briefly; he has left Raffy with Mason and adds that Buddy loves having her home and John and Marilyn are at work. Colby and Chelsea come past and Colby curtly tells Dean that Karen is all his. Karen follows, smirking, and says that she scared Colby off. Colby and Chelsea head back to the flat; Chelsea is amused, saying older women have a thing for Colby. Colby isn’t sure how he can tell Dean. He admits he didn’t get a statement but doesn’t want to take Karen down the station because of the effect on Dean. Chelsea tells him to deal with Dean while she deals with Karen.

Robbo and Tori approach the Diner in a good mood, with Tori saying she could be pregnant by the end of the month. Irene and Leah are waiting outside the Diner. Robbo says he has to go to the gym and Irene leaves Leah and Tori to talk alone. Tori tells Leah everything was amazing, the counselling went well and they’re ready to start fertility drugs during her next cycle. At the gym, Jasmine is skipping. Robbo comes in and teases her about going soft. He confirms things went well at the clinic and they hug, as Justin and Willow arrive. Robbo questions Willow about how the gym’s going. Justin worries about Robbo and Jasmine, asking Willow if they’re a thing.

Karen and Dean arrive back at the caravan park. Karen refuses to discuss Colby and is in a playful mood, suggesting a barbeque party. Dean tries to talk her into going to a doctor but drops it when she threatens to take off. Outside the surf club, Willow isn’t getting answers from texts to Colby and says she’ll have to go and find him. Justin asks her about Robbo and Jasmine; Willow says Jasmine likes him but thought he was with Tori. With some reluctance, Justin tells her about the IVF plan. He heads inside to sort it out.

Justin approaches Robbo at the gym and asks him about Jasmine. Robbo says nothing’s going on and it’s none of Justin’s business. Justin says he doesn’t want to get involved but needs to look out for Tori. Robbo admits he asked her out and she turned him down. Justin wonders if that’s why he agreed to Tori’s offer and he insists it’s not. Later, Justin meets Tori at Salt. Tori continues to be in a good mood but Justin asks her about Robbo and Jasmine and admits he spoke to Robbo. Tori dubs him embarassing and says Robbo’s free to date who he wants and if there’d been a problem it would have come up in counselling. Justin apologises and offers a celebratory beer.

Colby has filled Willow in. She says it’s not the first time Karen’s behaved like that, although Dean’s never seen it. Chelsea joins them and says she’s found Karen has a long list of priors: Driving offences, public order offences and failure to attend court. Colby says if they don’t get Karen to a psychiatrist she’ll end up in a cell. At the caravan park, Dean sends Karen to the van when Colby appears. Colby tells him about Karen coming onto him and about her priors. Karen watches them and calls out that she’s going for a shower. Colby tells Dean he’s booked Karen a psychiatric appointment in two hours: If Dean can’t get her to go, they’ll have to take her to the station.

Irene drops heavy hints to Leah about Tori seeming happy before explaining that she knows about the IVF. Leah is relieved and Irene congratulates her on keeping quiet. Jasmine arrives and confirms she knows Robbo and Tori are back and it went well. Irene notes she doesn’t seem happy. Jasmine says she needs to be cool and supportive. Later, Leah and Tori are chatting. Irene drops by to congratulate Tori, stressing that Leah didn’t tell her. Tori remarks that Justin freaked out about Robbo and Jasmine, then notices Leah’s expression. Leah suggests it’s not that wide of the mark. Tori thinks Robbo would have said something and Leah suggests she talk to him.

Willow finds Dean waiting outside the shower block and he explains about Colby’s deadline. Willow goes in to look for Karen but when she quickly comes out Dean realises Karen has gone. Later, when Willow is away looking for Karen, Colby and Chelsea turn up: They know Karen didn’t attend the appointment and need to take her to the station. Dean admits she’s done a runner. He packs his bags intending to go and find her, despite Colby warning he can’t miss community service. Chelsea steps in, convincing Dean the police will find her and treat her gently. As they talk, Karen is hitch-hiking on the road. A ute that drove past her reverses back and she gets in.

Jasmine finds Robbo finishing off a boxing class. She offers to help clear up and go for a run afterwards. Tori watches them being very chummy, throwing things at each other playfully and putting arms round each other. Later, Robbo and Jasmine finish their run near the Diner with Jasmine way behind and Robbo teasing her. Robbo leaves and Jasmine chats to Irene. Irene notes Jasmine seems happy but isn’t convinced she’s that pleased with how things are. Jasmine says she’ll take just being friends.

Inside the Diner, Tori moans to Leah that she should have noticed there was something between Robbo and Jasmine before and worries that it could derail their plans. Leah wonders if Tori is going to tell Robbo how Jasmine feels, since they could be happy together. Tori isn’t happy that the IVF plan might be abandoned but Leah asks if she could live with herself if she kept quiet.
