Extended Summary

Ash and Dean are with a group of River Boys near the beach. John, Brody and Mason watch them, wondering when Ash will realise the River Boys are trouble. John congratulates the other two on their heroics the previous night. Olivia joins them before John and Brody head off to work. She asks Mason about Alf and then about Hunter, saying she hasn’t called him recently. Mason thinks that’s for the best. Olivia says they talked and decided to be friends but Mason suggests Hunter was just being nice. He does, however, assure her that things are fine between the two of them. At the Diner, Hunter finds Jennifer doing schoolwork and she notes she has to make up for the time she spent with him, as they discuss how they just missed the accident at school. Jasmine serves them, explaining she’s doing casual work there to help out Leah. Ash and Dean come in and Ash starts making a loud speech telling people to let him know if they see Robbo. Irene, Leah and Willow look on in disbelief. Willow slips away as Irene attempts to interrupt Ash, eventually telling him to buzz off and take his rottweiler with him.

Robbo and Tori look at the photo in the motel room. Robbo can’t explain who Lauren is, whether she’s his wife, girlfriend or sister, but says they look happy. He has flashes of what seems to be the day the photo was taken but can’t remember anything concrete. Tori advises him not to push it and reminds him he can’t go out. At the hospital, John and Marilyn arrive to visit Alf. Alf isn’t sure what happened. John says the school was built on a sinkhole; Justin’s crash and the gas explosion caused it to open up. He adds that Justin and Roo are fine, with Alf bothered that they’ve seen Roo. John goes to put the flowers they’ve brought in water as Marilyn explains Roo is confused about what Alf told her but doesn’t want to be angry with him while he’s like this. She goes to excuse herself and Alf asks her to tell Roo he wants to talk.

Robbo tries and fails to remember more about the photo. He starts to describe the sensations he gets to Tori but they are interrupted by a knock on the door. Robbo hides but it’s Willow, who notices that Robbo is himself again. She tells them about Ash’s search, worrying the motel will be picked up on, especially with the car outside. Tori decides that the safest place would be her place, since it’s already been searched. Shortly after, Willow drives with Robbo in the car boot, chatting on the phone to Tori who is setting things up at the Morgans’. Willow tries to talk to Robbo but he is lost in his memories.

Tori ushers Robbo and Willow into the house, where Willow closes the blinds and tells Robbo not to go outside or near the window. Robbo says he’s remembered that Lauren is his wife and the children are called Lucas and Sophia. Tori is delighted that he has a family. Robbo recalls that they have a dog and a house in the suburbs. Willow decides to use the names to do a search online. She wonders about the surname. Robbo seems at a loss so Tori suggests Reid. At the Diner, Hunter gives Jennifer some pointers on her schoolwork. He goes to get coffees and runs into Olivia. They make awkward small talk and she suggests a coffee together but he says they’re just going. He goes back to Jennifer and suggests they get out of there. Jennifer reminds him what she said about concentrating on schoolwork, then notices Olivia and agrees. Olivia asks Irene when Hunter and Jennifer became a thing. Irene isn’t sure they are and Olivia accepts it’s not her business.

Alf attempts to call Roo but just gets her voicemail. Marilyn comes in with some veggie soup and admits that Roo doesn’t want to see him. Back at the Morgan house, Willow comes up negative with the search. Ash bangs on the door and Robbo hides in the bathroom, locking himself in, before Tori and Willow answer the door to Ash and Dean. Ash says he knows Robbo was in the garage even though Justin claimed otherwise and tells Tori not to lie to him. Tori refuses to let him search the place. In the bathroom, Robbo has flashes of a birthday party and then of police cars and calling an ambulance for his family.

Tori talks to Ash and Dean outside the house. She says Ash is harassing people and the police won’t like it but Ash says he’s after someone who killed a cop and claims to have their blessing. Tori says he doesn’t have hers. Ash says she’s been taken in by Robbo once and she’s the only person left that he cares about. Tori dismisses it as a blind desire for revenge. Willow watches through the window as Ash and Dean leave and Tori returns. Tori wonders if Ash is right and Robbo should be locked up but Willow reminds her she thinks there’s more to it. Robbo emerges and says he’s not Beckett Reid; his name is Ryan Shaw.

Mason finds Hunter sat outside the surf club and asks him how things are with Olivia. Hunter says he’s trying to move on and Mason asks what that looks like. A bikini-clad Jennifer joins them and she and Hunter go off together; Mason wryly notes that that’s what it looks like. Nearby, John stops Ash and Dean going inside. Ash initially claims they just want a beer in Salt, then says they’re searching Salt and the gym for Robbo. John isn’t keen but ultimately they walk past him. Down on the beach, Hunter and Jennifer come back from a swim. Jennifer pushes Hunter over and ends up falling down next to him and kissing him. She asks if it’s okay and he kisses her back.

Robbo comes back inside after getting some fresh air. Tori thinks he’s remembered more than he’s let on. Robbo tells her that after all the trauma he’s just remembered his family’s dead. He doesn’t want any more people to suffer so is going to hand himself in. Outside, Ash and Dean pull up; Ash wants to talk to Tori again. Then they see Robbo outside. Robbo runs and Ash and Dean chase him through the gardens.
