Irene’s struck down by a mystery illness. Mick turns down the job in Western Australia. Diana is the cause of tension in the Astoni family. Kat is stunned by Robbo’s marriage proposal.
Extended Summary
Kat is stunned about the proposal and now even more confused. Robbo reaffirms that he’s serious. Kat kicks him out, she needs time to think.
Alf gives Irene contact details for Mick to secure a job in Western Australia. An unsettled Irene gives Mick the details from Alf. Irene is forceful and instant that Mick takes this job and leave.
The Astonis are having a family meal with Diana, which is a struggle for them all. Coco, Ziggy, Ben and Maggie have a war council discussion about how to deal with Diana and the need to keep all their secrets, secret.
The next morning, Robbo has a brief discussion with Alf about some potential work and decides to reconsider the car he was offered. During the conversation, Alf notices that Robbo is doing better than yesterday.
Kat and Roo meet at Kat’s place – they discuss last night’s events and the proposal. Should she say yes to the big question? Roo tells her to wait until the shock has settled before she decides.
Mick calls Alf’s mining contact. While on the phone he notices Irene and Leah with the baby Luc, this pushes him to turn down the mining offer. He wants to take back the baby.
The Astonis attempt to project themselves as a happy, trouble free, family for Diana. Diana calls Coco out, unintentionally, for her diet. All the lying is troubling for Coco. The family go to the Pier diner and run into Alf who inadvertently leads Diana believe that her family might be hiding something from her.
Alf confronts Mick and tells him that he has no choice but to take this new job. Mick goes to visit his child who is with Irene. This troubles his mother who tells him to leave immediately.
Robbo brings flowers to Kat, he’s trying to prove he was serious about the proposal. Kat and Robbo talk over her list for keeping the baby. Kat still seems unsure about everything, while Robbo is convinced he wants to spend his life with Kat and their baby.
Kat finally tells Robbo she’s in love with him, but marriage isn’t for her right now but she does want him to move in with her.
The Astonis work to prevent their secrets coming out to Diana, but this is too much for Coco and she breaks, revealing everything to Diana. Ziggy was kidnapped, Maggie has PTSD, Ben’s hardly working and Coco is struggling with an eating disorder. Diana is more than happy to stay and help the family solve their problems.
Irene struggles over to Mick and returns the stuffed toy he left for Luca. Before she can leave, she falls to the ground in pain. Mick is unsure what he should do and looks to the baby, then back to his fallen mother.
