Justin is furious about Riley’s arrival in town. Evelyn helps Kat’s investigation. Tori has to choose between Nate and Riley.
Extended Summary
Tori arrives at the hospital and interrupts Riley and Nate clashing. She privately quizzes Nate about the message the left on her phone. Nate admits that he wants to be with her… but it doesn’t matter now – Riley wants her back as well. Tori is given more to think about as Riley apologises and tells her that he has never stopped loving her. At the Diner, Tori talks to Nate about what Riley said and she tells him that she needs time to think. Justin turns up at the hospital and tells Riley to back off Tori. Riley knows that he made a mistake seven years ago, but now he’s asking for a second chance. Back at the house, Tori and Brody discuss the two men she now has after her, he tells her that she has to make a choice: does she believe Riley when he says he’s sorry. At home, Justin talks to Tori about Riley, tells him that what she does with her life is none of his business – she can make her own decisions.
Justin tells Brody that he needs him to get his books from the garage as Mason and Olivia do the dishes. Mason accidentally let’s slip that Riley is back in town. As Justin realises the truth, Mason and Olivia leg it, leaving Brody stuck with Justin’s questions. Turning up at the garage to get Justin’s books, Mason and Olivia discuss Tori and Riley’s relationship, but they then begin kissing passionately. After getting it on, Matt walks into the garage. Mason and Olivia freak out… until Irene’s arrival renders them almost catatonic. Brody also turns up at the Garage – he, Matt and Irene notice Olivia’s shirt… busted! At the Diner, Irene questions Olivia – in a garage?! But back at the Morgan house, Justin and Brody treat Mason a little differently – Brody: well done! Justin: really? Olivia?
John brings Alf and Irene to the hospital to try and cheer up Marilyn. They bring her flowers. Marilyn, changing the subject from herself, tells Irene that Leah told her about the baby situation. Irene’s going to get out of town for a while, give everyone some time. It’s at this point, that Marilyn and John learn that the bushfire was arson… John storms into the police station and asks Kat if they’re any closer to finding the arsonist. She assures him that the search is continuing, and he will know when they have any answers. Down at the Surf Club, Kat runs into Evelyn who offers to help her with the investigation. At the police station, Evelyn assures her that it wouldn’t be anyone at the festival because she knows them all. When Evelyn mentions that Hunter was missing at the time, it peaks Kat’s interest. They try to push that aside but when Evelyn doesn’t come back with any other promising leads, Kat drops a bombshell – she’s going to have to investigate Hunter.
