Ross and Morag leave the Bay. Ruby suffers the consequences of her prank. Belle’s investigation leads to trouble for Aden.
Extended Summary
Despite regretting her prank, Ruby’s resentful of Matthew’s anger, it was his deception that drove her to it. But after some harsh words from Charlie, and seeing what Mathew has to deal with at school now, she apologises wholeheartedly. It seems he’s accepted her apology, until the next day she finds photocopied pages from her diary covering the walls at school, including her crush on Miles Copeland.
It’s finally time for Morag and Ross to leave the Bay. It’s a sad departure for many, but though their future is daunting, Ross and Morag are happy to be facing it together.
When Aden realises the developers have short paid him, he goes in to sort it out. They’re too busy to deal with it yet, but whilst there, he notices a second set of blueprints for the site, different to those on display. Deciding that whatever’s going on is bigger than his own personal drama, he tells Belle. She asks him to get her the blueprints, but he refuses.
Nevertheless, when he finds himself alone, back in the office, he grabs one of the copies. It seems he’s gotten away with it, but once he’s gone, Tim notices the missing copy that was made. At the end of the day, Tim fires Aden, though he doesn’t mention the blueprints at all, instead claiming they’re overstaffed. Belle’s ecstatic to have the plans.
