Extended Summary
Nicole is reeling from Geoff’s shock marriage proposal and is offended that the proposal was out of guilt at sleeping together on the island. She is angry that something she saw as beautiful between them, Geoff has seen as dirty and sinful. Feeling misunderstood and upset, Geoff leaves Nicole with tears welling in her eyes. Later, he decides to tell her what is important – that he really likes her and surely that means more than anything else.
Nicole tells him she wants to be his girlfriend and the couple come to an agreement – they decide to stay together but with no sex. Geoff is pleased but Nicole can’t resist for long and later tries her best to seduce him again, leading to another argument. And when Geoff bumps into Melody at the adolescent clinic and learns that Nicole didn’t pass a message from Melody to him, he is further angered. After yet another row Geoff tells Nicole he doesn’t want to be with someone he can’t trust and he walks out, leaving her completely crushed. Are Geoff and Nicole over before they’ve really begun?
Aden is trying to persuade Melody that she is not evil for praying for Axel’s death. After all, if prayers really came true Aden would be praying like crazy to win the lottery. Melody is not convinced and Aden tells her she needs to get well so she can go home – he wishes he too could go home. Meanwhile, Belle has visited Larry in the hospital then she finally visits a relieved Aden and tells him she is here for him if that’s what he needs to get better – but only as friends. Deeply disappointed that she doesn’t want more, Aden agrees clinging on to the hope that he might still have a chance to get her back.
Tony isn’t happy when Rachel tells him she is thinking of visiting Aden. He doesn’t know how she can forgive him so easily but Rachel says she is beginning to understand why he did what he did. A mysterious Bridget calls Tony at the Surf Club and later arrives at his doorstep. Tony is panicked, especially when Rachel returns home to find them both – what has Tony been up to, who is Bridget and how will he get out of this one?
