Although Ric rejects Viv’s advances, he finds himself drawn closer to her. At a time when he feels taken for granted by his friends and family, Viv goes out of her way to be there for him. But what is she really up to?
Brad’s dinner party gets off to a rocky start, with the Rachel’s meal a total disaster. Despite the chaos, she and Brad can’t help but notice how much fun Tam is having. It seems she’s finally settled into her new life in the Bay. However, everything is turned on its head when Heather arrives, with plans to move interstate with Tam. The teenager is internally torn – pleased her mother is out of the retreat, but worried she might succumb to her old demons.
Brad and Rachel are also concerned about Heather’s plans, but feel powerless to intervene. But when Heather realises how happy Tam is, she decides to stay in the Bay. Brad offers her a room and some money to help her get settled. But after a talk with Dan, he realises the loan might be too much temptation for Heather.
