Standing on the stairs in his boxers, Drew thinks quickly as Belle demands to know what he’s doing here?! Drew says he’s here to win her back – he can’t be without her. Belle is stunned and angry – is he that up himself that he thinks standing there half naked will change her mind?! Amanda props at the top of the stairs in her robe, listening in as Belle yells at Drew to get his stuff and leave – she wouldn’t take him back in a million years! He grabs his clothes and runs off, both he and Amanda relieved that they didn’t get caught out! A stunned Amanda fills Macca in – she can’t believe she slept with Drew and that Belle nearly found out. Macca thinks she needs to end this before it goes any further. Amanda agrees – she’ll end things with Drew – tonight. Meanwhile, Drew is on a total high – he doesn’t seem to care much about the police investigation in to who’s targeting him. Dan reminds him to make sure he’s always with someone – did he do that today? Drew smiles to himself, thinking of Amanda. Leah comments that he seems to be holding up well after his break up with Belle – is there someone else already? Drew confirms there is – and he’s very happy indeed. Dan and Drew head to the Surf Club for a game of pool and as Dan moves off to get something, Amanda approaches. She insists that everything that’s happened is a mistake and that she’s ending it before they do any more damage. Drew tries his hardest to talk her around, but she won’t budge and walks off, cutting out any further debate. Drew is left, devastated. Dan returns and Drew is distracted throughout their game of pool. Dan finally calls him on it, but Drew covers. Unable to take the torment, he sneaks out to see Amanda. Amanda answers the door to Drew who is desperately begging for her to reconsider – he tells Amanda that he loves her. She lets him know that this is crazy and that she knows it was all a mistake. Sorry, but the affair ends here. What affair?! Stunned, Drew and Amanda turn to see Dan standing at the door. Their secret is out…

Matilda tries to support Ric as he tries to put the Macca/Cassie thing behind him. Their conversation is interrupted by Cass carrying her stuff down stairs as she moves out. The tension is thick between them as Cassie moves out, with Ric pretending to be unaffected by it all. We later see Cassie choking back the tears as she tries to remove the ‘scrag’ graffiti from her folder. Macca arrives and Cass lets it all out – how Matilda and Luc didn’t even talk to her, people giving her death stares, awkwardness at Sally’s – she feels totally alone. He wraps his arms around her, he’ll make them a special dinner tonight… In the kitchen, Macca cooks up a storm, he’s managed to get Cass smiling and she asks how his job search is going? He covers saying it’s all good – but he turns away and it’s clear that he’s hiding something… Cass thanks him for dinner and as he cleans up, she moves his jacket and a piece of paper falls out – she reads it – he’s been kicked out of his share house and owes rent. Macca explains they didn’t approve of the affair and had a huge fight. He didn’t want to worry Cass about it and he’ll find somewhere to live soon. She feels terrible for him – is this all really worth the hassle? Of course it is. Their love for each other is affirmed.

Belle is bemoaning Drew to Lucas – there’s no way she’d ever take him back. Ric and Matilda come into the surf Club and Belle apologises to Ric for having a go at him last week – she’s in the same boat now, having been cheated on by Drew. Ric sees it as a genuine apology and accepts. The group rack up for a game of pool. Matilda watches Belle and Ric with interest, concerned with their flirting and where it might lead. After the game, Ric suggests they all head back to his place. Belle continues to flirt; Lucas has also picked up on this now and shares Mattie’s concern. Belle finds beer in the fridge and decides to hook into it. Ric has one too and is starting to respond to Belle’s flirting. The night progresses and both Belle and Ric are very tipsy. Matilda is convinced the pair are going to hook up. This is a short lived notion, when Belle ends up throwing her guts up in the laundry. What are they going to do with her? Lucas gets an idea – they can take her to Irene’s – she’s in the city till morning. They get the drunk Belle to Irene’s, soon to discover that both Macca & Cassie are there. They explain they had no where else to take her as tensions erupt between Macca and Ric. Matilda manages to drag Ric away as Lucas stays to look after Belle… Ric thanks Matilda for bringing him home – he’s glad nothing happened with him and Belle too.

As Matilda is about to leave, Alf walks in, how was there night? Ric smiles, not going into detail, but opens up to Alf, revealing that he feels lonely and hopes that the right girl is out there for him somewhere. Alf assures him that she is out there and when the time is right, they’ll find each other. We then see Matilda wandering along, contemplating the night’s events. Will these good friends realize they’re destined to be together?!?
