Vicki was talked about before she arrived in Summer Bay when Andrew Foley referred to his City girlfriend after Carly developed a crush on him. Vicki turned up at a school dance and was all over Andrew, causing Carly to be jealous. Vicki insisted to Andrew that Carly had a crush on him but Foley assured her that Carly was just a silly schoolgirl and they shared a kiss, not knowing that Carly had overheard.

When Andrew returned to Summer Bay in 1989, he had obviously broken up with Vicki.
