Tori and Ash come to a decision about their relationship. A discovery by Olivia leads to an exciting offer. Ryder begins to find his place in Summer Bay.
Extended Summary
This whole situation with Mick and Ash has made Tori question her perception of Ash. Is he a different guy now? Justin is more understanding and is defending Ash’s actions. He tells Tori that he would have done the same. Tori doesn’t want to hear it.
Roo finds Ryder sneaking around the kitchen late at night. Roo tries to chat with Ryder about his new living situation.
The next morning, Coco arrives at the Pier Diner, she bumps into Raffy. Coco tells Raffy that it’s not her grandmother that is driving her crazy, it’s her parents. Alf wakes to find Ryder asleep on the couch. Alf is not happy that Ryder is missing the fishing trip, Roo tries to calm him.
Olivia and Marilyn discuss the issues that she’s having with her website. Marilyn tells her that other websites are also selling the same clothes as her. This is news to Olivia.
Justin tells Ash that Tori doesn’t like when he roughs people up and that he should probably apologise to her to fix all this. Otherwise, he could lose her. Ash heads straight over to the hospital to apologise, but that doesn’t go to plan. They start fighting over what Ash did to Mick. Tori feels that Ash crossed a line. A line that Ash fails to see.
Ryder wakes on the couch, Alf is still mad that he missed another fishing trip. Alf decides that Ryder needs some serious work, maybe that will make him change his tune. Ryder is not impressed.
Tori meets with Justin, who is trying to convince her that Ash isn’t such a bad guy. Ash has been through a lot and Tori should be able to understand why he is so focused on stopping Mick.
Olivia is trying to figure out why her designs were stolen. She wants to call a lawyer, but is persuaded to hold off by Hunter and VJ, who want her to call the company before a lawyer.
Ryder bumps into Coco and Raffy while he is working at the park. He decides to run off and play pool with the girls. While at the surf club Ryder is flirting with the girls, he decides to shake things up, the winner of the pool game gets a night out with him. But the girls decide to bail on the game.
Ash finally gets to apologise to Tori for what he did. But Tori can’t see how they move past this. Ash has anger inside of him that Tori cannot accept, and decides they should take a break from each other.
Ryder arrives home expecting Alf to get mad at him for leaving the wood pile. Before Ryder can explain, Alf complements him on a job well done. Roo admits that is was her who covered for him and he can pay her back by going on a fishing trip with his grandfather.
Olivia meets with Axel, from the company who stole her designs. He tells her the designer who stole her work has been fired. She wasn’t excepting that. Axel is impressed by her work, and wants to make her an offer to work for him.
