6 Emmerdale Spoilers for Next Week – 25th to 29th May
Next week on Emmerdale, Kammy’s heartbreaking secret is revealed, Cain spends a night in the cells, and Gabby’s left humiliated when she attempts to seduce Ross.
1) Cain is caught short
Cain (Jeff Hordley) continues to struggle with the aftermath of his prostate surgery next week, as one attempt to get back to normal ends with him spending the night in a police cell.
The operation itself went well, but Cain’s recovery has proved much harder for him to deal with than anticipated. After weeks of fearing what the surgery could mean for any future intimacy with Moira (Natalie J Robb), he’s since been forced to face more immediate changes.

ITV
Sent home with a catheter for the first couple of weeks post-op, Cain’s worry has turned to whether he’ll face future incontinence.
While Liam (Jonny McPherson) has urged him to put his pride aside and take things slowly, Cain’s had little patience for being told how to handle things.

ITV
Next week, the removal of the catheter gives Cain a small lift. For the first time since the operation, he lets himself believe that he may be turning a corner.
Having already had a sneaky pint last week, his confidence takes him back to The Woolpack, where Cain tries to enjoy an ordinary afternoon in the pub.

ITV
Caleb (Will Ash) can see that his brother’s pushing it and encourages him to slow down, but Cain dismisses his concern and follows his pint with a whisky chaser.
The problem comes later, when Cain’s heading home and suddenly needs the toilet. Unable to make it back to Wishing Well in time, he’s forced to relieve himself at the side of the road.
Unfortunately for Cain, he quickly comes to the attention of the police, and the situation escalates further when he’s subsequently arrested for urinating in public and being drunk and disorderly!

ITV
Locked in a cell, Cain’s anger quickly takes over. PC Swirling (Andy Moore) only makes matters worse when he offers Cain a pair of sweatpants, and Cain is left furious when he realises he’s being kept in the cells overnight.

ITV
By the following day, Moira has had enough. She confronts Cain over how he managed to end up in police custody, but Cain can’t bring himself to give her a straight answer.
The incident leaves Cain worrying about being away from a toilet whenever he’s out in public. Will he let Moira in on what is really going on?
2) Kammy’s heartbreaking secret is revealed
Elsewhere, Kammy (Shebz Miah) comes under suspicion, as the mystery arsonist continues to cause havoc.
Robert (Ryan Hawley) and Aaron (Danny Miller) have been on edge after a series of fires on Emmerdale Farm, with the latest incidents making it clear that they’re being deliberately targeted.

ITV
Robert’s volatile ex-husband Kev (Chris Cogley) has already been ruled out, after Robert discovered that he was back behind bars.
Ross (Michael Parr) and Sam (James Hooton) had also briefly looked like possible suspects, after Robert and Aaron spotted them heading to the farm with a lighter and began to wonder whether Ross’s odd behaviour had an ulterior motive.

ITV
But when Robert and Aaron followed them and peeked inside the barn, they found the pair were covering up something far less sinister—Ross had been secretly teaching Sam to dance, with candles to set the mood, so he could make things up to Lydia (Karen Blick) after missing a dance class.

ITV
The search for the arsonist now turns towards Kammy, whose own behaviour is starting to raise questions.
When he visits Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) at work, she uses Eid as a way to gently ask about his family. Kammy is clearly uncomfortable with the subject, leaving Belle worried that she’s pushed too far.
Shortly afterwards, Aaron texts Kammy about another fire at the farm, forcing him to leave in a hurry. As Robert’s stress over the arsonist continues to build, Aaron encourages him to step away from the situation for a while.

ITV
But as they head to The Woolpack, neither of them notices a shadowy figure watching them from the barn.

ITV
The following day, tensions remain high at the garage. Aaron again notices how tired Kammy looks, while Robert’s agitation over the fires shows no sign of easing.

ITV
Belle is also left increasingly unsure where she stands with her boyfriend. When she asks Kammy if she can meet his family, Kammy quickly shuts the idea down, leaving her taken aback by his sharp reaction.

ITV
Fuelled by his strange behaviour, Belle considers snooping through Kammy’s phone, but manages to stop herself. Ashamed that she even came close, she confides in Dawn (Olivia Bromley) that she knows it would have been wrong to invade his privacy, but admits she still can’t shake the feeling that Kammy is keeping something from her.
Belle’s instincts are right, and whilst she’s left questioning what Kammy is hiding, viewers are given the answer.

ITV
At Emmerdale Farm, Kammy secretly unrolls a sleeping bag and settles down in one of the barns for the night, revealing that he’s homeless and has been keeping his situation hidden from everyone around him.
“This storyline is a vital look at ‘hidden homelessness,’ showing that people can be living on the edge of society, sleeping in their vehicle or barns, while still successfully holding down a job and maintaining relationships,” series producer Sophie Roper tells us.

ITV
“For many reasons, a person’s circumstances can change dramatically and we wanted to challenge the perception of what homelessness looks like and prove that what people present to the outside world isn’t necessarily the whole story.”
“We hope this narrative encourages our viewers to look closer and remember that things are not always quite as they seem.”
3) Kammy is arrested!
The next day, Kammy’s presence on the farm leaves him in even deeper trouble.
With Robert and Aaron still convinced that the arsonist is close by, Matty (Ash Palmisciano) tips them off after spotting someone acting suspiciously in one of the fields. Robert and Aaron rush over to investigate, only to find Kammy there with a petrol can and a lighter.

ITV
Given everything that’s been happening at Emmerdale Farm, Robert immediately jumps to the worst possible conclusion. Convinced they’ve caught the arsonist, he grabs Kammy by the jacket and demands answers.

ITV
But Kammy offers up a different explanation. Cornered and desperate, he admits that he wasn’t planning to set fire to the farm—he was preparing to torch his own car.
As Robert continues to hold onto him, Aaron fears things are going too far and steps in.

ITV
Kammy uses the moment to make a run for it, leaving Robert and Aaron with more questions than answers.
After another fire later breaks out, Aaron’s patience snaps. With suspicion still hanging over Kammy, he calls the police—and before long, Kammy is taken away in a police car.
Will Kammy be forced to admit his situation to clear his name?
4) Ross gets under Laurel’s skin
Elsewhere, Ross’s plan to help Sam finds him caught in the middle of an awkward romantic misunderstanding when Gabby (Rosie Bentham) gets the wrong idea—unaware that his attention is already fixed on her stepmum.

ITV
With Lydia unaware of what Sam has been up to with Ross, it seems from her perspective that Sam is avoiding her, leaving her increasingly frustrated.
Keen to push Sam’s dancing lessons along, Ross asks Gabby to meet him the following day. Gabby is delighted, assuming that Ross is making a move on her.
Her excitement doesn’t last long. When Gabby arrives, she realises Ross hasn’t asked her there for a date—he’s actually lined her up as a new dance partner for Sam.
Later, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) spots Ross watching Gabby and also misreads the situation. Convinced he’s taking an interest in her stepdaughter, Laurel wastes no time in warning him off.
Ross quickly realises that he’s managed to get under Laurel’s skin, and he enjoys the small victory.

ITV
The following day, Sam secretly watches on as Lydia gives an impressive dance demonstration with Bob (Tony Audenshaw), leaving him feeling increasingly jealous.

ITV
When Laurel notices Ross watching the class, she once again assumes that Gabby is the one he’s interested in and confronts him over it.

ITV
Ross later tries to lift Sam’s spirits. But when Sam points out that Ross always seems to be available whenever he needs him, Ross suggests that may not be the case for much longer, as his attention turns back towards Laurel.
As the week continues, Laurel finds herself fighting a confusing attraction to Ross, who’s been dialling up the flirting.

5) Gabby’s left humiliated
Meanwhile Gabby confides in Lewis (Bradley Riches) that she’s beginning to fall for Ross, certain that he feels the same way and blissfully unaware that Ross has his eye on someone else.
Gabby puts her theory to the test up at Home Farm, when she slips into a silky gown and attempts to seduce Ross.

ITV
But Gabby is left mortified when Ross gently shuts the moment down, making it clear that he doesn’t see her in that way.

ITV

ITV
As Gabby’s left to lick her wounds once again, how will she react if she eventually finds out that Ross is keen on Laurel?
6) Kerry steps up for Archie
Also next week, with Jai (Chris Bisson) heading off on a trip to Canada, partner Kerry (Laura Norton) agrees to look after his teenage son Archie (Kai Assi) in his absence.
