I did hear we would catch up sooner rather than later because Oz has some sort of brake or am i wrong there aswell??? It would not surprise me if i was!!! It would not surprise me if i was!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Home and Away does take a break in Australia (from about mid-November to mid-January), and theoritically Five will eventually catch-up. However, when Home and Away was on ITV there was a clause in the contract with Channel 7 preventing them catching up (hence it used to take a Christmas break like Neighbours on BBC1). I don't know if there is a similar clause in the contract with Five (I suspect there will be), so it may be that Five have to start introducing a Christmas-type break in the near future. Someone worked it out that it will take us years to catch up, as we're only catching up 6 weeks a year and we're still something like 8 months behind.
