**Julie** Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 Esther's great acting love Sunday Herald Sun March 1 2009 MELBOURNE'S Esther Anderson has clocked up her first year on Home and Away, and looking back, she admits to some nervous beginnings. "I was so nervous for months," she said. "I think it's a new job, except you're doing it in front of 1.2 million people." Anderson had never acted professionally before winning the role on Home and Away last year. She met her now boyfriend, fellow actor Conrad Coleby, while auditioning in Sydney last year when she performed with him in a screen test. "Obviously I was so nervous I wasn't checking him out," she said. "I was focusing on the job, thank goodness." Anderson said Coleby had been a great support during her first year on the show. "He's lovely," she said. "We talk about everything as he has been acting for such a long time. "He's a good teacher, I'm learning a lot from him."
