Lucas: So i was... Mattie: Um do you... Lucas: Sorry you were saying. Mattie: No it's fine you go first. Lucas: (sighs). You might have to wait, this could take a while. Mattie: (Confused) Right. Lucas: I was wondering if you would like to go to the movies one night or go eat something or maybe do both. By this point Lucas was rambling. Mattie: (quickly) I'd love to! Lucas: (shocked) You would? Mattie: Yeah. Lucas: Great! So what was it you were going to say? Mattie: Pretty much the same thing as you. They both smiled at each other. Mattie: What about tomorrow? Lucas: Tomorrow is sort of impossible as Dad is throwing a surprise party for Jack as its his first day at Yabbie Creek police Station, and his first day back since his accident.
