"In the beginning, I was concerned about playing such a scheming villain," she says. "I'd pick up the scripts, almost fearful of what she was up to next -- or whose life she was about to wreck." Viewers this week have seen Amanda continue her quest to win back her ex-hubby, Dan, only to flee Summer Bay after being crushed by Dan's rejection. "Amanda will be missing on screen for about six weeks, but she'll be back and wreaking more havoc," Brisley says. "Playing Amanda is wonderful. There's so much going on."
