Thanks! Really appreciate the feedback and glad you're enjoying the story so far. Thought I'd try to bring in a bit of light relief with the birthday party so it's not all doom and gloom. I feel terrible for Kyle and it's me that's writing it! lol!

Great chapter! Poor Zac! He's been through a lot. Good cover story for Tank, whereas Peter isnt really playing it cool. Peter's always a bit stroppy though so it wouldn't exactly raise any eyebrows. Having to investigate himself is pretty funny. I can understand both Hunter and VJ being so worried (it was nice when they both called him 'dad' ) Thanks for updating!

Oops, my first comment didn't post :-( oh well... Glad Zac is back and that he's okay (ish) although I can imagine that he might really struggle. With the trauma of prison, and this now added to it, I wouldn't be surprised if he suffered from anxiety i.e. PTSD. That would certainly make for rocky sailing for him and Leah ? It would be interesting too if Tank ends up being lauded as a hero for finding Zac and they don't find out for a while what he really did. That Peter one is a bit unhinged isn't he? Who knows what he'll do next! Lol! Looking forward to the next chapter x

Enjoying this. I wonder if Zac will remember his ordeal with Tank or has he beaten him so badly he'll have forgotten what happened? I'm glad Tank couldn't go through with it but now I'm worried as to what Peter will do since he hasn't got his way on this one. It's very cowardly of him to get someone else to do his dirty work anyway. Poor Zac! Update soon please x

Exciting chapter! Hope Zac will be okay and they dont hurt him too much. I'll be interested to find out who the kidnapper is. I always loved Colleen ;-) I've missed her, if only for her "Constable Risotto" and "hanging with your homos" ("eh Colleen, I think you mean homeboys!") type comments. She got some of the best lines. She was always a bit of light comedy.The show is missing someone like that at the moment. That said, I'm not sure that she's who you want flitting about when there's a crisis. She was always pretty self-absorbed from what I remember! Looking forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter. Really enjoying this story :-) Liked the scene with Evie and Matt. Matt wanting to turn the sun off made me smile. Glad Matt and Oscar agreed to sit down and talk rationally, at least they're both being a bit more sensible about things now. Have a lovely holiday! x

Great chapter! I love how affectionate they are with each other. It's lovely to see Leah and Zac so happy together, but as we all know, Leah never gets to be happy with anyone for very long! Someone needs to wrap Zac in bubble wrap before the Leah curse comes into force lol! Liked Ricky standing up for them too, that was nice. I'll be interested to see who you come up with as the kidnapper. Ah that Peter, always bad news! What does Amanda see in him? Looking forward to the next chapter x

Great chapter! Well done! Loved VJ in this. I can understand how he feels about things. He has a right to feel hurt. Dialogue was very well written and flowed very naturally. Hope Peter doesn't mess things up for Hunter now that things have all settled down for the family. Again, lovely to see Zac and Leah so loved up. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Loved loved loved this chapter! So well written! The dialogue was absolutely fantastic. Well done! I think you captured the tone and mannerisms of every single character so well. I particularly liked Skye in both of her scenes, and Oscar's scene at the end with Maddy. I can completely understand why Oscar would be annoyed with Maddy, and I don't blame him at all, but he probably does need to man up and take a bit of responsibility at the same time. She didn't just get herself pregnant I do hope the baby is Matt's though... Also, I'm really liking VJ and Olivia together. Really looking forward to the next chapter x

Vinnie was played by Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse in True Blood ). I think he got sent to prison for something he didn't do,and wasn't even there for VJ's birth. He was supposed to have died in prison but then they find out years and years later that he's actually been in witness protection (and then he gets killed by a tractor or something!) Think Dan was his dad for most of his early years. :-)

Enjoying the set up for the dinner tomorrow. I imagine there'll be a bit of tension when VJ sees Peter again. Like Leah said, VJ doesn't deal with change too well. I imagine Peter will want to make trouble for Zac as well, he's just that sort of guy. I'd forgotten that Ryan was Dan's son. Isn't VJ Vinnie's son though? So they wouldn't be half-brothers, they'd be step-brothers I think. Or have you made him Dan's son in this? I suppose Dan was his dad for a lot of his early years so he would think of him as his dad, more than Vinnie who was pretty much gone his whole life. Interesting. Glad he feels comfortable enough to call Zac 'dad'. I wonder if Hunter's going to start calling Leah 'mum' any time soon? :-) Love the relationship between Leah and Zac. They seem very much in love and I like how tactile she's being with him. Nice to see them being a bit less 'grown up' too and doing fun things together (they're not that old, even if they have ended up with half the teenage population of Summer Bay in their care!) Looking forward to seeing what Peter does in the next chapter! xxx

Really interesting idea for a story. Love the return of Peter and Amanda. I also love scenes with VJ and Hunter getting along well so this chapter made me happy. Nice that VJ wants to call Zac dad :-) I think the show under utilises Zac and Leah, and I'd love to see them have more scenes. They're one of the more likeable couples. All in all, I'm definitely onboard for this story. Looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Fab chapter! Loved it! The bowling date with Oscar and Skye was very sweet. I'm really enjoying them together now, they work really well! The pregnancy will certainly complicate matters if it's Oscar's. I'm hoping that it's not because I really like Matt and I'd feel bad for him if that were the case. Obviously it would make for a more interesting storyline though if it isn't. Very well written :-) Looking forward to the next chapter! x

Really enjoyed this chapter! I particularly liked the scene with Kyle :-) great writing! I can completely understand how upset Kyle is about Casey's disappearing act. It wasn't very nice of him to cut them out entirely and it's understandable that Kyle is hurt. I imagine Heath is hurt too, he just wouldn't be able to show it. It doesn't sound good that Matt is cheating on Sasha. It'll be interesting to see how things unfold there. Looking forward to the next chapter x

Great start. Oscar and Skye could be interesting together. They're both a bit quirky and probably very well suited to each other. (Although, for some reason I have always thought that Oscar is more likely gay Even if he hasn't realised it yet.) Interested to see where you take this.

Very touching. The speeches were lovely. Feel so sorry that Kyle never really knew how much he was loved. So many people came to the funeral to show that they cared. So very sad. Nice choice of music too :-)

Oh poor Kyle! :-( I feel so sorry for poor little 8 year old Kyle. What a terrible childhood. His poor aunt too...It would have been so hard to just walk away and leave him there with Duncan but I can understand that she thought she had no choice. Just a pity she didn't get help for him.
