Really liked this chapter! Sasha and Casey's conversation on the beach was really well written. Glad he apologised and that Sasha was mature enough to accept it. Really liked the bit about the post-it too :-)

Great chapter! Very well written! Feel so sorry for the boys that they have to say goodbye. It would be so hard to pack up all his stuff and leave an empty room like he'd never even been there. I can understand Brax's reaction completely. He wants to hold on to what little he has left of him for as long as possible. The girls should really have checked that it was okay first. Poor poor Kyle :-( Looking forward to the next update. x

Ah, this was a lovely chapter! So happy that Dex and Casey are repairing their friendship and that Dex let him stay with him. To be honest I never really thought that Dex and April worked all that well as a couple so I'm kind of glad that they've broken up. Hope Casey doesn't muck up the apology! lol! Great writing. I particularly liked the description of the shower at the start. You captured the discomfort perfectly! I could imagine exactly how Casey felt, ugh! Enjoyed the awkwardness between him and Sasha too. Liked all of Sasha's eye rolling, so very Sasha! :-) Glad Casey's shift went well and he's going to get to keep the job. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Great start to this story! Loved the Braxton boys' reactions. I thought they were very true to character. Heath making fun of Casey was very believable. It's also understandable that Brax would be upset to lose Casey from the house, not just because he's losing control of him but probably because he'd be feeling a little bit of empty nest syndrome too. Brax has basically been the dad in their relationship, so Casey wanting to fly the nest and have his independence would be hard on him. I liked that he was accepting in the end though. Looking forward to seeing where you take this. x

So sad that Kyle never got to really enjoy life in a family that loved him. The girls obviously really cared about him as much as his brothers did. If they'd all known more about his life before, and the terrible ordeal he'd been through as a child, they would have made sure that he knew he was loved. They never got that chance. Feel sorry for all of them. Glad his uncle and brothers are going to prison and won't be able to hurt anyone else. The funeral will be hard for all of them. Look forward to the next chapter. x

Thank you so much for the lovely comments! I feel quite sad that the story has come to an end but I don't think there would be a sensible way to do a sequel. It seemed like a natural ending to me. No idea what to do with myself now! I'll just have to find a new story to write, if I can. Thank you all for reading!

This is a lovely ending to a great story. I'm so glad that April and Irene made up and got to have a proper talk. You write Irene very well I can hear her voice so clearly when I read her lines. Love Heath in this story. I've always loved Heath but you write him really well. It's exactly how he would behave. Hope they can get their heads around the pregnancy and that Darcy doesn't react too badly. Looking forward to the next chapter :-)

Great chapter. I can understand why Heath isn't jumping for joy. After losing both Rocco and Harley he'd be terrified of letting himself get hurt again. Thoroughly understandable :-( Glad Darcy and April are back on an even keel. Loved the bit about Heath not saying 'I told you so', that's a nice character trait. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Great chapter! I'm so happy for Heath that they're back together. I liked Dex being the one to give her a stern talking to. Very well written. I absolutely loved Nate's scene, I could just see his self-satisfied, smug face falling when April gave him a telling him off. Haha! Brilliant!

Very powerful writing. Poor Kyle! :-( I feel so sorry that he never got to have a happy life or to feel safe. I'm also sorry for the boys, that they've lost the brother they've really only started to get to know. So sad.

Really liked this chapter, the last line is particularly lovely. Poor Heath :-( I always thought Bianca treated him quite badly, now Evie's doing it too. There's always been a vulnerability to his character, under his bravado. He was always very easy to hurt because he actually cares very deeply for the people in his life, even if he's not good at showing it. Hope they can work things out.

Nate is being very opportunistic in this chapter, isn't he? Preying on April when she's clearly upset and vulnerable isn't really an attractive character trait. I liked the use of the jacket to mark his territory :-) I hope that April doesn't fall for his 'charms'.

Great chapter, hope Casey's going to be ok. I liked the insight into Heath's childhood. I always thought he was someone who had to pretend to be tough all his life but really could have just used a hug. Looking forward to the next update :-)
