Jarlie Congrats! As Yellow said that great your getting replies. I once wrote an actress here in America and she sent a 2 page letter as the studio didnt have her photos at the time! Im also happy to hear replies From Ramsey Street! Sadly one actor ruined it for me so Its nice to hear the new people are doing a good thing by replying quickly. any reply, photo, letter or online better than nothing as my no reply list is disapointing! mostly they are USA however they are a few Aussies!

I know whats its like to be told mail on the way? I do hope you get a reply thats one reason I quit doing them besides planning to move in the future. Good luck

I do hope many of you get the replies you want. I went over my album and looked for more cards to give away as Im going away in the future and only keeping my personally signed items. I have found some you might like such as Signed a Booklet a friend had Water Rats star Catherine McClements sign while she was doing a play in Sydney. an Australia Zoo postcard with Steve and terri autograph printed on the back (Not signed by pen or marker yet still nice) Unsigned Around the twist cast photo Blue Heelers cast photo I been to many sci fi cons here in America years ago and have some unsigned photos such as Jessica Alba From Dark Angel Bruce Campbell Renee OConnor Xena Lucy Lawless and Renee on stage Xena guest actress I really have alot of respect for H&A and do hope they get better with Fan mail. I hope they add new people as they will in the future which will be more to write for you fans. I am dispointed with the runaround and lack of replies as a year is a long time for any fan to wait on a reply giving how great Aussie shows where at it. which is the other reason besides moving away I have for giving up that I use to enjoy. Sadly a few stars whom I wont meition have given me a bad experiance and although its they are not working still I feel they could have when they where.

Im going though my album and will post some other autographs and unsigned photos I have in the future to give away, However I have given away all my H&A and Neighbours cards though I have others from both Aussie shows and Here in the States I got an cons and when actors use to do fan mail!

You have my symapthy! I do hope they are replying? I know sometimes the mail slow yet? Thats one reason I gave up collecting besides finding out what people where like in real life and who didnt do Fan mail.

Yes I know that N is very good with fan mail just like H&A. I was disapointed how they allowed some characters to have fan cards and others didnt. even though I though only the regulars got that? Again thats nice to hear of someone getting replied too! Good luck to all.

I guess if seven network in the address it will get to them? Interested inj knowing if anyone ever got a reply from any other series like Packed to the Rafters or Lowdown for examples.The only other series I know that does Fan cards now is Neighbours as I been told by someone they got replies! Yes thats the correct address, Good luck on future replies. Im sad to hear that no one getting those. I do admit a year is too long for a reply even its from the office. I can guess some reasons for that. My main issue with the wish list I had the actors series is no longer airing!! Yet I have been told by mates that some actors dont do fan mail and not to contact agents. Which you told here as well. If you search online sites I have read warnings that alot of Fan mail addresses are out of date. Thats why I held both H&A and Neighbours to a high standard since most of thier actors where great in replies and help. Im only disapointed in 2 actors who didnt have cards or left before I wrote! Im very dispointed if what Im told that some of your people are not as nice, much like our people here. I will tell you I do not watch some shows because of lack of replies. Yet since I dont collect autographs anymore its the principal of the issue as I dont liek to see anyone hurt! Good luck and keep trying!

In my opinion the one actor that has VERY great handwriting is Jane Hall from Neighbours.

Im very happy for you. Its really great to have someone you like reply to you. I remember I got a auotgraph years ago on Christmas Holiday and It was an actor I liked very much. However it hurts when you dont get a reply and find out actors dont do replies. thankfully they are rare yet some reasons like actors leave shows or they are cancelled are some good reasons for no replies!

Its always nice to hear of someone who admits they enjoy hearing from the fans!

One of my mates told me who was good and not good at replies. Im disapointed in some actors who are no longer working yet with H&A and N both series have a good fan mail setup so unless the actor didnt want to I see no reason not to get a reply? I would trust them over an agent any day! Yet I did get a reply online from a Neighbour actor? IF they are on Facebook or twitter that helps to meition? Good luck to all!

Thats very god news for those of you who are still collecting. Im glad to help out maciam as I just read your PM. Yes Neighbours has always been good with replies yet something happen which ruined the show for me so Im glad the other cast are doing a better job at being nice and helpful for the fans.

Thats very kind of him, I noticed alot of stars on Twitter yet its rare to get a tweet yet when IT does happen its a great thing. Not all actors are as open on social media so count yourself lucky if someone you like replies. I know I was happy to send a tweet to one of my 90s Heroes and she thanked us!

I agree with you there. Neighbours cast are also great at replying too. Yes next to H&A they come close in being nice as I use to know people there. yet now Im dispointed with them. However that doesnt take away the good they do to others. Theres one show Im very hurt at I wont meition. Its not Neighbours.

I think that so wonderful they are! Good luck to all who sending mail. MY issue sadly is the actors I tried are either not working or difficult to contact. H&A proabably is the best Aussie show! Im very disapointed at some others as you get the runaround "You letter will be forward to said actor" or you will be given an address yet you will get no reply. CH 9 use to have some great shows whos actors where GREAT with replies such as SEA PATROL and MCLOEDS. I do have some complaints yet i wont meition the shows as I learned on other forums no bad news is appricated. Its nice to know they are some good Aussies!

Thats a great reply you have. my suggestion to all here is from a US actor who wrote in a book the best time to write an actor is when they 1st appear on a show as its when they are getting set up to deal with the fans and are more able at 1st to reply personally to give them and thier character popular image!

Wow that is a rare item you have. and for her to sign her characters name is something else so Im hoping its real as you have something alot of H&A fans would like to have.

I totally agree with you Jldraw. " Im not going to name names" yes its hard since some shows and stars are very careful who they talk to. I know how you feel. Its sad when you have actors that dont sign and as you said it could be they are not on the show. I was disapointed one actor didnt appear in a poster with the rest of the cast and another fan made the comment "maybe she didnt want to?" I have been told by mates who met many famous people who nice and who not! Some actors just are too "busy" or worse they dont consider it important which goes back to what I noticed in the last few years from Australia. Your people are just as anti fan as some of ours big stars. Im not to name anyone person but they are just some who do not want to be bothered! I understand the need to respect and treat stars as we would other people with respect yet If someone has that much of an issue they should consider another career. I have heard some bad stories! They have been US actors who are NOT afraid to come out and say they dont want fan mail? I doubt any Aussie star would be stupid to say anything bad about shows or fans given what happen to Melissa George recent comments even though she has a right to how she feels about her past. As I always said it depends on the actor and how they been treated on how accessable they are to us fans? It is always a let down to want to collect a set of actors cards and theres one that you cant get!
