How does he get away with committing such serious criminal offences like this?!?!

1. Regarding Brett: if only Roo had an abortion and saved a lifetime of this kind of misery and custody battles......it's a pity she has to live with this mistake whether or not she learns from it (not saying I feel sorry for Roo, I agree she brought it upon herself, but it was just so preventable and she had plenty of time to stop it while she could after finding out she was pregnant) 2. Regarding Norelle and ol' Vinegar: That's a slightly [sarcasm intended] different issue to my spelling of Alsa. Anyone can see, as plain as the nose on my face, a sour-tongued corrections officer who used to throw her weight around at a certain women's prison, who earned the nickname "Vinegar Tits" and was called that ever since, then when that same person bosses Norelle about the same way as she treated the inmates, surely you'd think something is amiss when it doesn't seem to cross Norelle's mind to include "Vinegar Tits" as an insult to answer her back??

I'm sorry to say, Stacey is not a very nice character and I am not going to enjoy her presence in The Bay. (MANY SPOILERS FOR FUTURE EPISODES BELOW) . Anyway, regarding today's episode: I couldn't help but notice how "determined" Phillip was to help Stacey, even though Lance & Martin were already helping her with her broken-down car. What is Phillip's problem? Something smells rotten here. .

ARRGHH WHY doesn't Norelle call Vera VINEGAR TITS like the girls did at Wentworth?????

How does Gordon expect Brett to make the baby a boy instead of a girl? Not shooting out the right <censored>? :vomit:

Not exactly a PROUD day in Australia's history. Instead, it is one of those days that make me feel ashamed of the country that I was born in and live in. The majority of voters (me excluded, I don't vote Labor) voted for Rudd and now we've got the dullest DULLARD ever to receive the keys to the Lodge  As for Home And Away: The Early Years, in today's episode, the issue of Gordon and the sex of the baby is just plain ridiculous. 'Nuff said? We are now sentenced to . I am sure a lot of you will agree with me on this though, in coming episodes, .

Norelle having a catfight with Roo as well

Lance & Martin? Friendship? They seem to be "together" so much it seems more like a relationship! They're like Siamese twins, can't be separated! The Tom and "Pippa" storyline is so meaningless and non-entertaining I cut those bits out/skipped over them. Out of a 22-minute episode today, only 12 minutes were left. I'll be glad when we return to quality Home And Away early episodes...... in a few day's time. Not looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Not at all. As for Alan and Bobby, I don't know what to make of their "relationship". Are they "friends" or are they "lovers"? Why does Bobby keep fighting off his advances (stopping him from kissing her, etc.)??

Tom only said "bloody" once or twice — in the Pilot Episode (and perhaps Episode 1 as well). I hope the do-gooder groups don't use the "bitch" usage as an excuse to demand the episodes be cut or moved to an inconvenient timeslot, causing it to be cancelled/delayed extended periods. This is just another threat to the 7TWO episodes we can do without, thank you!

I'm sorry to say I was rather disappointed with today's episode. I don't like how Carly says it is a "well-known fact" that girls mature faster than boys in justifying the double-standard about how it is OK for guys to be older than girls but not the other way round. They also treat the "love" issue as a joke when it is a damn serious thing that changes (and wrecks) people's lives. I also don't like how Norelle falls for Phillip for treating him like a kid by giving him only a small amount of Champagne when drinking a toast to his mum & dad). Finally, I don't like the storyline where "Pippa" is supposedly in danger because she is having the baby. I wish I had a better report but it's been one of those episodes, after the excellent run of Alf & Alsa episodes we've been having. Still it was good seeing Lance & Martin and his mother-in-law continue to show themselves as the idiots they are!

One point in particular about the excellence of these episodes at the moment is the Alf & Alsa storyline. Their marriage began burning in Episode 130 when Brett first made Alf the business deal. The fire started as Alsa protested against the Macklin development proposal, on the grounds it would change Summer Bay somehow (not clearly explained) and on environmental grounds. In the last few episodes, the fire gained strength, and in Episode 150 erupted into a huge inferno, then it exploded after Roo set him and Alsa up with the letter and Alf said he didn't want his daughter ending up with a knife in between the shoulder blades.

The Fletchers won't be marginalised for long. Just you wait the next couple of weeks, you will find Fletcher family affairs will be very hard to miss.....

Flaming Alf's marriage is now well and truly BURNT OUT

I noticed Alf officially "flamed" for the very first time in this episode. When Alf and Alsa were arguing about the double-booking after apparently resolving their differences over Brett's resort, Alf says "Thanks for stickin' up for me, Alf. Oh no worries Als" then he mutters the words under his breath: "flamin' women". You should have seen the flames really erupt at the end of today's episode, no wonder Alf became the legend that he is today!! Sorry, I wish to correct this as I have noticed Alf tell Bobby "don't you kids ever flamin' learn" when she urged him to stop Vera from gossiping about Carly being "attacked by that man" while hitch-hiking, in Episode 36.

Oh and while we are on that subject, why is it that it is OK for an older guy (say, 19) to go out with a schoolgirl (say, 15 or 16) whereas if it was in reverse it's not OK (older girl Norelle, 19) and younger guy (Steven, 15 or 16)?? It stinks of double standards if you ask me.

He does from time to time.

Why didn't Alf and Alsa learn to communicate properly, sort each other out, BEFORE (instead of after) getting married?? I can't understand couples feeling the need to RUSH into making such a life decision as if it were a matter of urgency, long before the probation period (maybe call that "engagement", should be referred to as a test period but oh, no, that's too "unromantic"! Can't have that!) anyway long before the probation period is over. They needed a chance to sort these issues out before they got hitched. Another case of a rushed relationship I'm afraid.......
-
How come Alf doesn't have the "gut instincts" Alsa has, that the Macklins are doing dodgy deals? Is that because Alf is a male and Alsa is a female?? There is a right way and a wrong way, of putting forward her opinions. Alsa is going about it the wrong way, by being stroppy, being rude, uncooperative, and generally nasty, instead of being nice about it and explaining her case to Alf properly. They should both agree amicably to disagree. Unfortunately from what it seems to me, the script producers/writers make it look like because Alf is MALE, he is automatically in the wrong. The supporters of the Macklin Development seem to be predominately male while the opposition is largely female. I could be wrong, could you correct me?
-
Sorry, but if you ask me, Alsa is being a bitch. But Alf made a mistake marrying someone so opposed to his views. Alsa's disloyalty is SHOCKING (well maybe Alf is disloyal to Alsa as well, but Alf is being portrayed as being in the wrong).
-
That was a cruel and demeaning thing for her to say to her (ex) husband.
-
If my calculations are correct and 7TWO keeps up its consistent schedule every day as it has been, Episode 382 will air at about 9.30am on April 21, 2011.

Russell is quite a vicious monster and it is quite disturbing how freely the good folk of Summer Bay condone his wanton violence!
-
It seems Lyyn suddenly disappears. First we have the scene of Lynn and Carly in their bedroom talking, and the next it seems she is gone already, and Floss and little Sally are mourning her "passing" or loss. Good to see these episodes shown in full, not cut to pieces at the beginnings and ends like when they showed the repeats last time.
-
Old H&A Fan it is spelled Ailsa not Alsa  It is great having all the Stewarts in Summer Bay at the moment, hopefully with Morag to come back soon too. An era that sadly will never be repeated NOTICE: Most of this reply is spoilers about an upcoming storyline and I will be blacking out my text accordingly. Yes I have seen the episodes/storyline played out where:

To be honest I was quite disappointed with the way Alf forgave Roo after Alsa, Barbra and Vera set up this fake story about her having an accident. Alf turfed her out for a reason — she let him down very badly by keeping up the lies about whose baby it was. Further, Alsa is bending over backwards to help Roo and you have seen and will see again the thanks that she gets (not that I am defending Alsa). If only Roo didn't open her legs to Brett in the first place (I mean how DUMB was that????) or at least cleaned up the mess made (by having an abortion, at least before Brett found out his balls went dead) before it got this far out of hand.
