As I said in the pre-ramble to the fic, I won't be updating this anytime soon. I just wanted to post it now as a sort of oneshot. Mostly so I didn't forget about it and lose it on a disk somewhere... again I can't remember where it was originally headed when I wrote it, and right now Ive got a bunch of other stuff to get through before I can start thinking about this. Thanks for taking an interest though. I appreciate it If you want to read something else while your waiting, I have a wide variety of other posted fics. May I suggest the epic, "After the Crash..." ?

Heh. I had to take a moment to remember Ben. Yeah, season 5 isn't my favourite. I haven't been watching Buffy or Angel much at all lately. I think I've got all the good stuff memorised . Which is why I'm not remembering anything about season 5 of Angel... I still haven't brought myself to buy it yet. The thought of spending money on it... eh. The only draw card is Harmony. It hurts watching Spike and Lindsy...

I haven't seen Hostel or Wolf Creek though, and I've heard good things. Evil Willow wasn't my favourite person, but she was fun, and I don't think there was a more ... *looking for the word*... good... effective?.... something... scene... than when Tara got shot. It was so sudden and unexpected and it was just like nothing had happened for a few seconds. Except there was blood... It was pretty cool. I like Angelus better. He's just... mmm... I like Darla and Dru . And Lindsy. Season 2 of Angel rocked. I like 2, 4, and 6 of Buffy. Again, 2 is my favourite. And again, it's got quite a bit to do with Dru

Embrace the fear. Sidenote: I'm watching "The Secret" - which is a show that's telling me that if I visualise and believe in things they'll happen. I wished for Andy to post in a topic that I wanted to reply to. By the time I'd scrolled to the bottom of the main forum page, there it was. And I'd been in this thread one second before he posted, so it was like an instant response from the universe This rocks!

I don't love Jack on the show, but I like him in my fic. You have to make any character your own in order to write them. You have to give them motives for doing stuff and understand where they're coming from. You did that really well in this fic. There's aspects in Charlie and Tara's characters that I haven't really thought about, but you highlighted them to explain their actions. So I guess what I'm saying is, you can write for characters you don't like (I don't like Tara). You can either try and see them from another perspective, or try to explain why it is that they do the things you hate, and then use that to your advantage.

Well, for a sequel involving Corey, Jack and Martha wouldn't be out of the question... You could make everyone happy Oh, and thanks! This fic was a great birthday present
