    All Saints

Score To all of the above I think I want your life.
  3. Sweeney Todd. I'd see it for the curiosity factor, but it wasn't the best movie I've ever seen. It was all acted and directed well, but the premise was thin and the songs were pretty dull. Some interesting lyrics, but the pace and score where kind of all over the place. I didn't leave the cinema with anything stuck in my head, which is not a good sign for a musical. And it really could have done without the tacked on love story. It was never resolved anyway... If not for the stellar cast and director, I'd struggle to give it 3 stars. Maybe 2 and a half. I personally feel like it was Tim Burton's excuse to get the darker characters of Harry Potter (Snape, Bellatrix and Peter Pettigrew) together and add Johnny Depp to the mix as the deranged, exiled, and murderous role of Sirius. As we all know he SHOULD have been. I think I saw Anthony Stewart Head in a quick cameo, and I really enjoyed seeing Sasha Barren Cohen (is that right?) in a partially dramatic role. So that was fun. That little boy, brilliant as he was, could have so easily been Tom Felton... I know Tom's like 20 or something now, and doesn't really qualify as a little boy, but still... Malfoy... it would have rounded the cast off nicely Ohhh Jason Isaacs... why wasn't he there? Darn it Burton, you must plan these things better!! Put your hand up for HP 7! DO IT NOW!!!!
  4. Happy birthday Jodi . Only very special people are born on the first of February

    All Saints

I did the same thing. Libra isn't making my life any easier by throwing Bart in my face every other ad break... I'm fine until I see him, and then I get all antsy, wondering when All Saints will be back .
  8. Two more horror movies for me: "Into the Mirror" and "Cut." The first was Korean, and was coooooolll... The second was Australian and was... well... daggy
  9. Eh. I'm personally getting bored of the internet as a whole. Nothing ever seems to happen on any of the boards I visit... Nothing very interesting anyway. I think I've spent so much time on it that I've read everything and said everything, so there's just not that much more to do
  10. Oh I'm sure you have your ways... but it was a bit freaky thinking that I'd actually seen them. I prefer to live in blissful ignorance, thank you EDIT: I saw the guy's thread while I was searching for my dooms day posts. Apparently I was the last one to post in there. I didn't read what it was, but I still found that interesting, being that I'm not a guy. Only at heart
  11. So you do. This will be my 30th post. I only just noticed that post counting feature the other day when I accidentally clicked it. I didn't know what it was, and thought that I'd stumbled onto some sick, twisted tracking device that the mods had implanted in us to monitor our posts.... o_o
  12. I'm hardly ever in this thread so I wouldn't know. I just saw that you said hi and I didn't want to leave you hanging

  15. Fun interview. I enjoyed the response to my question about Dylan and Angie. It's good to know that I saw a subtext that was actually THERE for a change
  16. lol, if only! Although if this was a paying job, I'd have definitely been fired by now

  18. Haven't been in here for a while so... The Golden Compass - pretty good. Nothing I'm too invested in, but if they make a second movie I'll watch it. Enchanted - very nice. I had a blast watching it, and I don't think I stopped smiling with girlish Disney-fan glee. Except for the dragon. I was hoping for Maleficent, but it was much too cutesie for my liking. Alien Resurrection - It just wouldn't end... How long can a group of people run around screaming at random piles of teeth and goo? If it was a choice between sitting through that again and a handful of cyanide pills, I'd really have to consider taking the pills... Aliens - a much better movie than Resurrection, but I still had little to no interest. Space-based sci-fi... eh. Dead Silence - will probably give me nightmares . Not bad for a generic horror. I liked the classic haunting vibe. I appreciated that the gore was specific to the story they were telling, and not just for the sake of "oooh blood! AWESOME!!!!!" . And Ryan Kwanton was in it, so it was fun to nitpick his American accent
  19. The weather is pleasant. Not too hot, not a cloud in the sky. Gentle breeze in the trees. Cicadas and birds chirping merrily. Very nice day indeed.
  20. The last one I watched was The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Such a random classic, I love it . But before that, the last movie I watched which I hadn't seen before, was Hot Fuzz. It went for a long time, and it didn't really get exciting until the halfway point, but it was still fun before that. Spoiler: That was so funny

  23. I don't know why, but I seem to be getting movie channels all of a sudden on Foxtel. I assume they're trying to get me addicted to their new Showcase channel, but either way, I'm taking advantage. I watched "Cry_Wolf" today. It was neat. I honestly didn't see the ending coming, and for what was essentially a teen slasher flick, it was really original and nicely twisted. And Sam from Supernatural was in it, which was a plus
