This is exactly what I'm talking about. About Belle not being good for his recovery, well how was this? It might have been funny, cute, and fluffy to watch but it certainly wasn't good for his recovery. It basically showed that he comes back to school after doing something really bad and instead of standing up and facing everyone he just ditches school and to go have fun. As his friend she should have told him that he needs to face everyone instead of running away because he didn't want to deal with it. And thats why I like Belle, they may not have had many fluffy scenes lately but atleast she makes him deal with the hard stuff. And whether he likes it or not thats what he needs to be doing. Taking someone out to cheer them up is good but not when you are doing it to help them ignore things because they are too hard to deal with. As for Nicole standing by him without asking questions. It's easy to be there for someone after everythings done but where was she before hand. Right she was making things hard for him with her jealously during that crush on him. And then she started following him telling him how much she missed him when he moved out but that was because she needed a friend. She wanted someone to talk to. And then she was so wrapped up with Elliot I'm not sure she mentioned him again throughout that time. And after the island yes shes been a friend to him but most of their conversations are about Nicole and her relationship with Geoff. As for the visit she never seemed all that concerned, she was willing to put it of to talk to Geoff about their relationship and even afterwards seemed more shaken up about her boyfriends ex being there then the fact that her 'brother' was there. There friendship just seems to be something the writers created because they needed someone for Nicole to talk about Geoff with. Lets not forget the way she was with him before the OC. Like calling him disgusting for trying to kiss her(his fathers in the hospital tell him properly for god sakes), called him pathetic because he dared go visit Belle after she called him digusting and there where other examples. She would have never been able to handle his issues then and she isn't the one doing it now. Shes just sitting around talking about Geoff and asking him about Belle, joking with him and helping him avoid dealing with what he needs to be dealing with. It may be fun to watch but, not for second, did this play any major part in helping with his recovery. Roman and Morags once great relationship with him became completely non - existant after a while after he moved in with them. Roman had too much on plate with Nic rebelling and Martha being pregnant. And Morag with Ross. Now they both had good reason but it still proves that weren't involved in his life much. They only started showing up when things got out of hand(the kidnapping). Red Ranger 1 mentioned Belle walking away from him in the station. This line made me believe that people who hate this relationship are always going to find a way to take anything they do and find the bad in it. Any reason to make the characters out to be bad will do even if you don't believe it. For someone who hates Aden and doesn't like how everyone justifies everything he does and stands by him even then I am surprised you would even want or expect Belle to stand by him after what he did. She trusted him and he betrayed that trust. She said it herself he held her there like she mean't nothing. No matter how much you love someone, a person cannot be expect to stand by them after they've done something like. And even if she couldn't be with him she still went to the clinic and offerred to be there as a friend. [Just something I wanted to point out, no attacking] Morag, Roman, and Nicole may have good relationship with him but they weren't the ones who went through all the messing everyday stuff with him. They are not the ones who got him to feel comfortable enough to be open up about his feelings. I'm not saying they didn't do anything to help his recovery(okay well I am saying that about Nicole because she didn't) but the other two did but theres no way one can say that they helped him the most. That was Belle. Giving someone a home isn't enough( look at Melody) to say he did the most. And seeing good in someone but forgetting him shortly after he comes to live with you isn't that either(Morag).

I truly love angst but only when it's written extremely well and still manages to keep the characters completely in character throughout the scene. There are only a few writers on this site who can pull that off and you're one of them. I think back to the Drew/Belle fight in Untroubled and the Aden/Belle angst from there too and it makes me even more excited for it. Oh and your fluffly scene are never boring. Even if theres been alot.

Favourite line. They are like an old married couple already(I mean that in a good way). Love the bickering. Is it wrong that I kept wishing everytime they got annoyed, or irritated with each other that it would turn into a full blown fight? Great chapter. Glad they haven't lost their banter. I must add how sweet it was when Aden immediately felt bad for making her feel bad. Please update soon.

Belle and Aden have certainly made a mess of things recently. But with Belles history of not making the best decisions and Aden being who he is I wouldn't expect anything less. It would be completely unrealistic if they suddenly had all the right answers and did everything right. As for Belle stringing along Angelo I think people forget sometimes that shes just 18/19. She just wanted to get back into her passion and ended up in the middle of a conspiracy. All she knows is that people are dying and she tried to get the police to investigate but they wouldn't believe her infact noone even took her seriously(with good reason but still). Finally she gets someone to help(even if he didn't do much) but he only did it because he is her boyfriend can you blame her for not wanting to jeopardise that considering the circumstances. It's easy to say that makes her a bad person but for to me it simply sounded like all she could focus on was the fact people were dying and that she was willing to do anything to stop that. Shes 18/19 what more could you expect from her? If you were in that position would you choose to try and hold on to every resource you got to try and stop more people from dying or put the feelings of one person above that? I know what I would do. While I'd hate to hurt someone I'd still choose to focus on the bigger picture and that is that people are dying. As for Aden and Belles relationship. I don't get how anyone can say that being with her isn't good for him. He may have good relationships with Roman, Morag, and Nicole but Belles the one he really opens up to about his issues. She the one he confides in about how hes feeling. Shes also the one who made him realise that he needed to tell the truth on the stand, or that he needed to go see his father, amongst other things. While Roman, Nicole, and Morag just make cameos when things get out of hand only or when he doesn't have Belle to talk too. Belles been the one who was actually there almost every step of the way since she came into his life, whether they were broken up or not. She also showed alot of maturity by not walking away from him whenever things got difficult or when he tried to push her away. She could see straight through it. As for Roman and Morag he may have had a good relationship with them prior to moving in with Roman and for a little while after, as well as get along with Nicole, but when he was going through his fathers drinking problems, the hit and run, and everything else Roman and him barely had two scenes together(and even those where like 1 minute tops), Morag and his relationship basically became non - existant, and him and Nicoles as well. It was only after the kidnapping that they became involved again. Belles the one who's been there the whole way. Shes done alot for him. But while she has matured she isn't perfect. The thing that appeals to me the most about them is that their relationship isn't like anyone elses. Sure in the beginning with the flirting and her pretending she didn't care it was. But as soon as they got together that changed. Another thing that puts them above everyone is that, whether as a couple or on their own, they spark more debate then alot of other characters. Not to mentioned that both actors who play them are amazing. They work.

I was so happy to see Geoff stand his ground. I really thought it would end up with Annie being the one most determined to break them up. But she impressed me with the way she was able to realise that Aden cares for Belle and that she didn't want to do anything that could her. Especially considering the way Annies been feeling lately. Poor Belle. Just when I thought things where looking up for her. Lovely scene though. Please update soon.

After your comment about the upcoming angst I'll make sure to enjoy these fluffy moments even more. Looking forward to the angst though. Enjoyed that bit about Aden smiling at the nurse. Well Belles reaction to it anyway. I had a smile on my face throughout the scan. I've been smiling alot recently while reading this story. My favourite parts were the thing about him being more interested in the two somethings wrappeds in his arms the way he preffered them to be. And that last part about it being a girl. Jamey-Maria I hope I haven't upset you with this comment. I wasn't calling Martha a slut. Infact I was comparing that part of her personality to Belle. Kinda like how I made the comparison to Nicole. My point was that most characters(I just picked Nicole/Martha because they each suited the situation I was talking about) have moments where they do something unlikeable and hurt someone but it doesn't mean their a bad person. I personally dislike both Martha and Nicole but I don't think they are bad people for doing the things I pointed out. As for Martha being a slut. I don't believe Martha or Belle is a slut. Yes they've both slept with a couple of men but each time they've been in a relationship with them. And thats not the definition of a slut to me.

Geoffs alot smarter here then on the show. I love how protective Irene got over Belle. Hope her mother doesn't take her away. I wouldn't mind seeing a confrontation between Irene and her mother. Aden buying her a cake. So sweet. Wonder what Nicole has planned. Please update soon.

I absoutely loved that part. I'm actually glad she said no for now. I was actually shocked that he was planing to propose so soon. But I can see his reasons for wanting too. I think this happenning really helped their relationship considerating the talk they had afterwards. Really liked that scene with Irene. Shes become really funny in this lately. Please update soon.

I hope Aden doesn't get into to much trouble with Roman over sleeping with Nicole. Although loved how Aden told him about Belle. And he admitted to someone that hes falling for her. Wonder what Annie, Geoff, and Nicole are going to do. Hope they don't break up Adelle. Belle like Nicole said is fragile and she doesn't need them messing with the only good thing in her life at the moment. Geoffs comment about it being 000 made me laugh. Bring it on - Love that movie. I used to love her interaction with Belle and Drew. She was always so good with Drew. She always knew how to handle him. And when Drew left the way she went to check on Belle was sweet even if it was to ask her a favour. When they were first doing up the new diner and even when they first opened Belle and Leah had quite a few scenes together. I really thought they would become closer but they haven't been in the same scene (where they actually talked to one another)for such a long time. Leah needs something good to happen to her. I would like to see Miles and Leah together but not anytime soon. I'd like to see her be happy on her own for a while. And spend more time with V.J. I'd love to see Leah get a new love interest(not Miles right now) but it shouldn't turn into anything serious. Just a harmless fling. She needs something fun and carefree in her life.

I'm glad someone said this. I find everyone comparing this Aden/Angelo situation to Drew/Lucas completely ridiculous (the cheating part anyway). The only thing that is the same is that she stayed with her current boyfriend all the while pining for her ex. With Drew she just admitted her feelings but she specifically told him that nothing can happen between them before she ended it with Lucas. That kiss on the beach, Drew was the one who kissed her she immediately stopped it. Yeah she should have told Lucas the same day but she just chickenned out, but she still was going to tell him. The only mistake she made was comfirming how she felt to Drew while still with Lucas. And I don't see how that makes her a terrible person. As for her sleeping with men to get want she wants. That statement implies that shes willing to sleep with anyone to get what she wants. Shes never done. Yeah she tried to hold on to Ric by seducing him but she was young and thought thats the only way to make someone like her(I'm guessing that Nicole was alot like that). She also slept with Lucas and Angelo for the wrong reasons. But she didn't do that because she was vindictive she thought being with them would help her get over Drew and Aden, misguided but not a terrible person(Martha used I've lost count of how many men to take her mind of Jack and other stuff as well). As for using sex to keep Angelo. When was this. From the time she made that comment about having to stay with Angelo because hes a cop it's been one drama after another. They even showed her pushing him away when he tried to just be there for her. So I highly doubt she was sleeping with him. Yes she treated him horribly and stayed in a relationship with him when she clearly wanted Aden but to say she had to use sex to keep him is ridiculous. Angelo had strong feelings(although they couldn't have been as strong as he made out to be if he seems completely over Belle and has moved on to Charlie that quickly) for her and wanted to stay with her even if she pushed him away and basically ignored him(those weren't good things but I did point out she treated him horribly) so I highly doubt with all that, that she'd even need to have sex with him to make him stay with her.

My favourite part. Their talk about the scar made this chapter for me. Love that shes wearing her bracelet. So Geoff was the one who came up with the idea to get them to dance. That surprised me. Glad he now realises that Aden is good for Belle. Love all the Adelle fluff in this chapter and the last one. It's so different from where they started in this fic. They really have come along way. I hope the angst isn't completely gone though. You write angsty scenes really well and angsty Adelle scenes are always a pleasure to read. Please update soon.

I like that all the other girls weren't going along with anything Anita was saying. The Aden and Belle scenes were so sweet. I really liked it. Now thats it's out in the open I wonder how Annie and Nicole are going to act around each other. Please update soon.

This chapter was so cute. I love how you did the part about the baby moving. And Aden frowning when he couldn't feel it to, how adorable. I had a smile on my face throughout that scene. Nice gift by Mattie and Nicole. But loved the gift more because of the note. The boys wanting credit for it cracked me up. The baby moved. What? Where? Where do you think? - Adens reaction was another one that cracked me up. This chapter was lovely. I read that baby part twice now. I can't get enough of this chapter. I loved this chapter. The reunion was done so much better than on the show. This was so much better than I imagined it would be. And considering their interaction in this fic I already had really high hopes for it. I am so happy that Belle is still dealing with losing the baby. I felt so sad for her when she said 'No baby'. Aden stopping imediately when she wanted him to was really sweet. I love that you had them talking in between all the racyfluff. It made it so much better. Love the way Aden was with Anita. She deserved it. That was a nice visit. Hope he visits her more often. I like that she has no problem openning up to him. I wonder how Annie is going to react now that she knows about Nicole and Aden considering all her feelings towards him. Please update soon.
