^ Just looked up the trailer for it on youtube and saw Ben Mendelsohn is in it. Might not be able to watch it now, he terrifies me after Animal Kingdom.

Lincoln always reminds me of basketball player Tyler Hansbrough, maybe it's just the eyes ;) http://o.onionstatic.com/images/8/8304/original/700.hq.jpg?3934 I find his acting of most things perfectly fine, like the drunk/hungover bit, or his general interactions with people, but it's just the angry/sad stuff, it's just variations of big eyes.

I know people have been saying that Tamara has been rebooted with her clothes and everything but she actually looks older too. There's a picture on the Official Site for next week of her and Kyle sitting at the table and she doesn't even look like the same person who was on the show a few weeks ago. I wonder if this is deliberate? Or is it just a case of her being on the show for x amount of time and the hair/makeup people have got her look sorted now? That happens a lot with new actors, even Kyle looks very different from when he was first on.

^ So the stuff they're filming now (after their holidays) could be next years episodes?

We're not talking about Casey's emotions, we're talking abut Lincoln's ability to portray them.

I agree about the eyes. He has two expressions at the moment. Sad big eyes, and angry big eyes. The other 3 Braxton's seem more natural in their scenes but some of Casey's seem a bit forced to me. Particularly the angry ones. Maybe Lincon just doesn't have it in him to be an angry guy

I was going off him being a similar age to Gina, who has a 30 something son in Hugo, so she must be 50ish, so I assumed John was there or there abouts.

^ I was just thinking about his the other day. It didn't even come into consideration when she was thinking about whether to go with Sid or not. I know she's settled in well with Indi and Dex but it does seem another case of someone just forgetting a major part of their history. They could maybe find a way to bring Felix onto the show if How old was he when he was on the show? They could age him up a little, stick him with Jett and VJ, have him live with Irene, maybe?

When the actress that plays Marilyn was on Emmerdale her boyfriend was way younger than her. It didn't cause anyone to have a heart attack or call for her to be burned at the stake. I'm not sure any of the current cast would work for me, but they could introduce someone for her. Is John not way older than her anyway?

The last proper story line I remember Maz having was baby George. Which was really quite a good one, although sad for her. Maybe they should get her a place of her own and have her fostering? She could buy the farm (literally, not die) and pick up strays from the beach like days of old.

Ha! Dex was infatuated with her and it got very creepy for a while. I thought it was a shame they broke her and Sid up, they were an odd pair but it really worked. They just split them up so he could get with Roo for all of about 5 minutes and he's been on his lonesome ownsome since.

I'm not sure Maddy and Sasha were even friends. And yet Sasha was still concerned for Maddy's feelings at the start. In my opinion Sash is in the clear completely.

She didn't really have a lot to do up until now except moon over Casey, which I wasn't fully buying, but yeah, she's been pretty good with the amnesia stuff. Makes you wonder how much of the story was planned when they cast her. It could easily have been a disaster if she'd been a rubbish actress.

I thought the spoilers were a bit weird at first but looking at her behaviour lately it's not so unlike Casey's that it actually makes sense that their paths should cross.↲

When I saw the spoilers about Sasha and Spencer getting together I thought I liked the idea of them as a couple. When it came to be on screen I changed my mind. They had barely started hanging out and then the idea popped into Dex and Indy's heads about them being a couple so they became one. It seemed really random and quick. ↲ That said, I don't think Maddy has any right to interfere or get in Sasha's face about it. She had her chance, she blew it. Feel sad about it if you must but accept that it's your fault.

This isn't an "obsession" with Kyle. It's real feelings. And she doesn't love him yet I don't think, she hasn't verbalized it yet. I'm kinda glad they didn't have her say it back to Kyle when he said he loved her, her emotions are way too complicated right now. I want her to get everything back and then say it to him when she's back to "normal" and realizes her true feelings.↲ Same. I had initially not wanted anything to actually happen between Kyle and Tamara while she had the amnesia. I wanted her just to realise that he wasn't the monster she thought and once her memories came back she'd have to rethink her feelings. Since the writers decided to actually put them together I'm glad they didn't have her express anything deeper than a connection with Kyle. I still want a fully competent Tamara to make the decision on who she loves.

↲ I'm not saying have them in a relationship. I'm just saying as friends. Not now though as Supersonic says because he's tied up in the triangle story but later down the track it could work. Especially if Sasha ends up

Casey was still dating Sasha when Kyle first came to the bay. They could easily have interacted then without it being weird. ↲ Why do you have to bring everything back to Casey anyway? His and Sasha's relationship was stupid from the get go, regardless of what they may have had in common.↲ All I'm saying is that a Kyle/Sasha friendship is something I'd have liked to have seen happen a few months ago.

I've been giving some thought to Kyle and Sasha being friends. I mentioned the idea in a thread recently, can't remember which one. Someone was suggesting Kyle and Rosie as friends which led to Sasha.....↲ Anyway, I was just thinking about how it doesn't make sense to expect Kyle to be automatically 100% loyal to the Braxton's after only knowing them a short time, and I realised Sasha had been in the exact same position. Sure, the Walkers aren't as intense as the Braxton's but Sasha was thrown into this family who had no idea she existed while she was still dealing with her mothers death. Which got me thinking that her and Kyle really should have been friends. And again, nothing more than friends. I know there's an age difference between them but they could have had a really interesting friendship there. There hasn't been a boy/girl friendship done well on this show since Aden and Nicole. (which they kind of ruined towards the end)

Aww, poor Heath. I think he was in a bit of a panic at that point so that's why he needed things simplified.

Does anyone know how long Nic Westaway is contracted for? I was just thinking that the other Braxton's are bound to be coming to the ends of their contracts now and nobody seems to renew theirs anymore, or not by long anyway. Was just thinking that they'd really need to integrate Kyle into the community better if they plan on keeping him once the other Braxton's leave.

It's so annoying that they have her at odds with Sasha. Given how great Rosie and Sasha's friendship was it's dumb that they introduce two female characters within a few months of each other and make them all hate each other. It's the same with the boys really. Apart from Dex and Casey occasionally remembering they're friends there is no teen group any more. Even a few years ago they had Ruby, Casey, Xavier, Dex and April who were all genuinely friends. ↲ They seem to just use the teens for rubbish love triangles and random hook ups now. Sasha and Casey was so random and stupid and then the never even speak to each other any more. They'll probably do the same with Maddy now instead of having her get some actual friends.

I hope she sticks with Kyle once her memory comes back fully. Partly because I like Kyle but also I think it'd be interesting to see her character develop more and I think we're more likely to see that away from Casey as the writers have a tendency to smother the women involved with Casey or Brax.

I think Kyle and Sasha would make great friends. And I mean just friends. They still could have done Spencer and Sasha and Kyle and Tamara but it would have added a bit more interest too. Sasha being Kyle's friend but having to deal with Tamara getting in the way, again, could have been interesting and made it not just a surely Braxton thing.

Melody was pretty awful too. The actress playing her was terrible.↲ Although I like Kyle and Tamara together I would have liked if they'd explored Kyle's character a bit more before coupling him up. Specifically I'd liked to have seen him in a non Braxton story. I really enjoyed seeing him interact with Leah and Zac and even Tamara before Casey came back and it became a Braxton plot again.↲ The idea of him helping Rosie out could have worked. He could have done what Spencer did. That would have led to him interacting with Sasha too which could have been fun.
