I took that as more of a he hates Liam and doesn't want him around at all, and especially not around Nicole. I suppose that could be a cover for what he's really feeling. I'm not sure though. As I said I'd be all for them getting together

Didn't know that. TV3 are actually pretty good for US shows. 3e shows How I Met Your Mother, US Office, Family Guy, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, 30 Rock, House, Fringe etc. etc. Only thing is it'll probably be on at some silly time of night and have no promotion at all.

This is absolutely my favourite show ever!! It's only 4 episodes in but so so good. It's slightly surreal in places but still believable, and there's a load of musical numbers in each episode which just make it perfect. Some personal higlights include, the original members of the club doing "Push It" by Salt n Pepa at the pep rally. The teachers group singing "I Wanna Sex You Up" at the school board meeting, and most recently the football team doing the "Single Ladies" dance in the middle of a game. Oh and I have to say I don't find Finn that good looking, olus he looks so awkward when he's dancing, but Mr. Schuster is HOT and so is the other guy off the football team, possibly called Chuck or Puck or something?? Anyway, I've been downloading the episodes, but for those in Ireland/UK E4 have picked it up, but it doesn't start untill January, but the good news is FOX picked it up for a whole season, so there'll be 22-24 fab episodes to look forward to.

Anyone else think that he comes from some sort of violent family background? I know he was in foster care with Jai, so there's obviously some sort of problem with his real family. When he saw Liam after Aden punched him, Liam said he deserved it, and Romeo said, no one ever deserves it, or something like that. Just the way he said it sort of made me think at some point down the line we'll be told that his dad beat them all up or something. Oh and he's kind of funny looking with his shirt off, keep it on Romeo, much better looking.

Well I don't think all 18 year olds are like that, but I think it's been made pretty clear that Nicole has some issues, and she associates sex with love or affection. So she always feels the need to have a boyfriend to make her feel wanted.

Yeah I get that, and I agree they do have a very close relationship and are almost like family to each other. I'm just saying that personally I don't see that as a reason why they shouldn't be a couple. Like I said though, there are plenty of other reasons that making them a proper couple might be a bad idea. The way I see it though, the fact that they are so close would only be a good thing if they were to get together. They already know so much about eachother and neither would have to worry about opening up to the other one, or sharing their secrets, as they both already know everything.

There's been loads of step sibling relationships on this show. Dani and Scott, Matilda and Lucas, Ric and Cassie etc. etc. Ric and Cassie weren't really that big a deal, but the other two couples were actually step brother and sister. Nicole and Aden only lived in the same house. It's not like Roman raised them both, he was barely even a dad to Nicole for most of her life. There are a few reasons why Aden and Nicole might not work as a couple, but the so called brother/sister relationship is not, in my opinion, one of them.

Yeah since Nicole came into it I wanted them to hook up, but I think the way the writers have gone with their characters it's not likely to happen. Oh well, I'll settle for more scenes with them together as friends if that's all we're going to get.

Liam didn't sell Belle drugs!!! Or did I miss something? He might have given her something at the concert way back, but she was already on her way to being an addict by then. I have to admit I'm a bit confused as to why they all hate him so much. He was Belle's friend in rehab, and as far as I remember helped her through a little bit. I know he relapsed a few times, and his presence caused grief between Belle and Aden for a bit, then there was him causing trouble at the funeral. But the way they all react to him is like he did much worse.

Leah was kind of in love with Miles pretty quickly wasn't she? I know nothing happened there but she still moved on emotionally. I found the Nicole and Aden scene a bit odd last night. It was almost as is they were both laughing at Nicole's pathetic life lately. I don't know.

If Aden was to move on with anyone it should be Nicole. Even Jessica Tovey said Nicole in a magazine interview when she was asked who she'd like to see Aden move on with. Although she did say that he shouldn't move on too quickly. However it depends on

Well like Charlie said herself, she expected to be excluded from the investigation because of her connection to Grant, but she didn't think she'd be suspended. It was kind of weird that he suspended her after being in the bay about 5 minutes and not really properly questioning anybody. If he'd interviewed everyone properly, and not just accused Angelo and Charlie, and then still have thought it was Charlie, then suspended her, that would have made more sense. As it is, it's like he just came into the bay and jumped to the most obvious conclusion based on local gossip. Not very good police work.

Yeah I agree. Since his breakdown, which is now a year ago, pretty much all of his storylines have been about his supporting Belle through whatever she was going through at the time. He was so tied to Belle that he never really interacted with anyone else. It would be nice to see him involved in something without any connection or mention of Belle. Actually now that I think of it, isn't his dad still alive in jail or hospital?

While I agree it's sad to see two people who were so close, now be so far apart, I think I like the fighting. Obviously in terms of the story it's more realistic than Ruby just accepting it and them all just getting on like nothing happened. But also I think it's quite enjoyable to watch them struggling. That probably sounds a bit cruel, but I think it goes to show how well they built up the Charlie/Ruby relationship, that we care so much that it's falling apart. They have to be carefull though, because it could go on for too long, and leave us all wishing they'd drop it and not really caring if they ever make up. Likewise they could drop it too soon, as happenes often in home and away, and then it wouldn't be very real at all. After the grant kidnapping, when ruby moved back in, I thought that was it, and I have to say I was annoyed that they would be reconciled after such a short time, and such a horrible event. So I was kind of glad when Ruby moved out again.

That's exactly how I felt about the Belle Aden relationship. I never really liked them together. Towards the end when she was dying they were very sweet together, but for most of the rest of the time I wasn't bothered about them. They're whole relationship seemed to be based on drama. First it was Aden and his dad/grandad. Then it was Belle and the construction site, Belle and Angelo, Belle and the drugs etc. etc. If there wasn't some drama going on then they weren't together. It always seemed to me that Aden opened up to Belle about his abuse and then it was sort of like they were dependant on eachother, but not in the good kind of depending way. I don't know if that makes sense, but basically I'm agreeing with the previous post.

I'm guessing in true Home & Away style their reconciliation will involve one of them nearly dying and they'll kiss and make up over the hospital bed. I know the distance between them might be frustrating for some fans, but it's more realistic that there would be that distance.

I like him so far. He seems a bit cocky when it comes to that ladies, but at the same time he doesn't come across as a sleeze. I do think that pairing him with Annie is a bit odd though. Like someone said, he looks way too old to be with Annie. Maybe nothing will happen there, but it seems like that's where they're going.

I'm waiting for the line "I love you so much , I'm so sorry" Realistically I don't think that would happen any time soon, but then again this is Home & Away. Plus Ruby has already stopped calling Ross her dad, she refers to him as Ross...so you never know.

I have to admit, I never ever ever liked Charlie. When I heard this storyline was coming up I rolled my eyes and thought, this is going to be terrible. How wrong I was. This Ruby/Charlie stuff has been great, and I am now officially a Charlie fan. I always liked Ruby, but she hasn't really done anything since she arrived, except hang off Xavier all day long. This story has given them both something to get their teeth into and they've both risen to the occasion. Like someone already posted, this storyline seems to pull Charlies whole character together and pretty much all her other storylines seem to make sense now. I can't wait to see how this Grant stuff plays out. My only hope is that it's not another someone ends up in prison, even though they're innocent, they rock the green shorts for a few weeks, untill Morag clears it all up and they're freed. But not before having befriended/annoyed some other inmate who will show up in the bay a few weeks later and try to kill someone.

I just have to say that my cousin works on a prawn boat, not in Australia, but still.....anyway, they'd never let a woman on a boat like that. Fishermen consider it bad luck to have a woman on a boat, so it's all a bit rediculous that she's there in the first place. That said she seems a likable enough character and I'm interested to see where they're going with it all.

I've been lurking a while now, long time lurker, first time poster I felt now was the time to comment..... A few posts back someone said about Nicole and Adens friendship being convienient for the writers because she hadn't any one else close to her age or something along those lines. Personally I always thought that the only reason they got Belle involved with Aden is becasue she literally had nobody other than Irene to interact with. Drew left, Ric and Maddie were leaving and there was nobody left for her to interact with, so they threw her and Aden together. Even now that she's with Aden she still hasn't really got anyone else hence Aden being the one she relies on now with the endless string of accidents she's been in. Anyway, as far as Nicole and Aden goes I'd quite like to see them get together at some point in the future, but not as a rebound off their other relationships. If they were to get together I'd want it to be when both of them aren't with anyone else, no cheating or using the other to get over someone etc. etc. Oh and also after Nicole found out about Adens abuse she didn't treat him any different which I thought was nice, and that whole episode where they skipped school and had their little "mates" chat, I though it sort of solidified their relationship, whatever way you want to view their relationship. I don't really buy Geoff and Nicole as a couple, she's basically had to change everything about herself to please him and he's still as preachy as ever. It has been good for her in a way as she has matured and become less selfish recently, but I can only see that relationship lasting so long before their different beliefs cause problems again. Belle has helped Aden through alot, no doubt about that, but I think that's what their relationship has become now. When she's not helping him through something, he's helping her through something. Most of their relationship has been like this. Before they broke up she was helping him, after Angelo and they got back together she's been in hospital every other week and he's supporting her now. Not a basis for a relationship. I'd like to see how they'd go if everything was just hunky dory with both of them. No court cases, no hospitals, no drug addictions and prawn trawlers etc. etc. At the end of the day though I enjoy the Aden Nicolle scenes as they are believable as friends. If at some point in the future the writers decided to bring them togethe as a couple, I'd be ok with that. If they choose not to, well I'd be ok with that too as long as they continue to develop their "friend" relationship. Lastly I think the current storyline with him not going to Uni and her butting in and all that shows how much she does care for him. After all the stuff that he's had to go through he deserves to have an oppertunity to do something for himself and to have something good happen and Nicolle seems to be the only one who wants it for him too. I know his reasons for not wanting to go to Uni, but he has no parents looking out for him and nobody else in his life other than Belle so somebody needs to be the sensible one, so I say Go Nicole!! but that's probably a discussion for another thread.
